Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is true that nomarous youngstars choose to take a year out between finishing school and starting university in order to gain work experience or to travel. The experience of profassional life this offers benefits the individual when they return to education. With my prespective,we want to work with studies partially because it support us to face the difficults of life.moveover,it help us to start studies with part time job.
initially, when a student finish his school and want to start a university they need to fulfil their expences so he try to get a job.when he get a job he start working with his full potential and try to earn more money as well as experience. if the student is coming from a rich but responsible background he start working to gain experiences of life but if the student are coming from poor background he try to get more money. furthermore after this gape of education he is not able to study and he quit studies at last.
however, if a student start working with an education he have nomarous advantages.initially he face difficulty however, with the passage of time it became easy for him.it have some reasons that if a person start working with studies he get an experience of all that leasons which he learn in his class room. In addition he is able to fulfil his expences.
In conclusion, gape in studies make our mind relax and our brain become week therefore we want to start working with studies which is more effective then to take a yoar out between studies.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response attempts to address the prompt regarding whether taking a gap year benefits students when they return to education, but it is somewhat confused in its stance. The writer argues against taking a gap year and instead advocates for working while studying. While relevant ideas are presented, such as financial needs and gaining practical experience, the development is limited and occasionally unclear, especially regarding how a gap year leads to quitting studies. Furthermore, the confusion between a gap year and working simultaneously prevents the position from being fully clear throughout. Therefore, the response aligns best with Band 5, as the task is addressed only partially and ideas remain somewhat under-developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay displays some overall organization with transitional markers like 'initially', 'however', and 'In conclusion', but the logical progression is frequently disrupted by confusing arguments and abrupt shifts between ideas. Paragraphing is attempted, but the paragraphs contain disjointed points, such as mixing financial backgrounds with dropping out of school. Referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly with pronoun usage like 'he' and 'it', which makes the flow mechanical and repetitive. Consequently, the organization lacks clear overall progression, warranting a Band 5 for coherence and cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The lexical range is limited and contains numerous severe spelling and word-choice errors that impede communication. Words like 'nomarous' (numerous), 'youngstars' (youngsters), 'profassional' (professional), 'prespective' (perspective), 'difficults' (difficulties), 'moveover' (moreover), and 'gape' (gap) appear throughout the text. These errors demonstrate a restricted vocabulary and frequent orthographic mistakes. Although the writer attempts to use less common items such as 'financial background' or 'full potential', the persistent misspellings and inappropriate word choices restrict the lexical score to a Band 4.5, rounded to 5.0 based on the IELTS scale.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The essay features a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and basic complex forms that are frequently faulty. There are persistent errors in subject-verb agreement, such as 'the student are coming', pronoun consistency, and article usage. Punctuation and capitalization are also poorly controlled, with missing spaces after commas and periods. These frequent errors cause considerable difficulty for the reader and obscure the intended meaning in several places. Because the grammatical control is weak and errors are pervasive, this criterion falls firmly into the Band 5 category.
