Education is a powerful tool that can be used to change the world. A considerable proportion of population gains work experience After school and before university. many people believe that experience in pratical work provides more benefits when they learn higher education. even though some might disagree with this statement i strongly agree because because work experience makes more creative and also benefit in education.
There are multiple benefits associated with this topic, firstly work experience is an effective way to make more people creative because higher education study more on pratical. for instance, students who wor in a comany before university can learn how to solve problem which can help to develop ideas during studies. Hence, pratical experience reduce the fear of pratical life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The student addresses the prompt by clearly stating a position agreeing with the statement that taking a gap year benefits individuals in their subsequent higher education. Main ideas regarding creativity, practical skills, and employability are introduced and supported with examples, such as solving problems at a company. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive, with frequent generalisations and a slight digression into the benefits of travelling that lack deep integration with the core academic context. Overall, the response meets the basic requirements of the task, earning a solid Band 5.5 for task achievement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The text is organized into paragraphs with basic cohesive markers such as 'firstly', 'secondly', and 'in conclusion'. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions, repetitive phrasing, and poor referencing. For instance, the sudden inclusion of travelling within the paragraph discussing job acquisition ('where travel different places has benefit...') creates a disjointed flow. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs is mechanical and sometimes faulty, which affects the overall readability. This performance aligns with a Band 5.0 for coherence and cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive, frequently reusing terms such as 'pratical', 'experience', 'education', and 'benefits'. There are numerous spelling and word-form errors, including 'pratical' instead of practical, 'wor' instead of worked, 'comany' instead of company, and 'diffculties' instead of difficulties. While the student attempts less common vocabulary like 'innovative', 'responsible', and 'creativity', the high frequency of lexical inaccuracies and restricted range limits the score. This sits comfortably at a Band 5.0 for lexical resource.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The essay displays a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but control over grammar is weak. There are frequent basic errors in punctuation, capitalization (such as 'After' and 'many'), and subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'work experience also help', 'student make their own decisions'). Furthermore, many complex sentences are ungrammatical or awkwardly phrased, such as 'even though some might disagree with this statement i strongly agree because because work experience makes more creative'. These recurring errors and lack of control over complex forms restrict the grammar score to a Band 5.0.
