Student answer (Band 5.5)
Today in the modernized era where education is much needed and many youngsters get benifited by it many of them take a year lap after complitation of school before joining college in the way so that they can gain experience in the form of work or travel which will later benifit them personally and professionally later in their life.
personally, i strongly support the idea of taking gap after completing of mid school before entering university. As, their are several factors which greatly influenced my opinion.
firstly, it is important to understand why taking gap is important between school and joining university. A lot of young people choose to travel and experiance the outside world for example: the gap they take help them experience adulthood in avery early age, managing their expences, working at early age so that they can value for money and use it in right way and also help them taking right decission.
secondly, unlike others who join university right after the school could not experience in the way as the youngster who take take gap. If an individual travel they meet new people which build their confidence in taking right decission in their life which expand their world view and make them mature which no institute can help them as such.
In conclusion, i agree with the idea of taking a gap after completing of school as it can get hands-on experience to the youth where no education teaches them. It helps them even in getting desirable job by adding to their CV'S if they lack in education scores.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you strongly support taking a gap year, and the conclusion restates this view. You address both work and travel, with relevant points about managing money, meeting people, building confidence and gaining experience for employment. These ideas answer the question, but some are asserted rather than explained. For example, you say travel helps young people make better decisions and become mature, but do not show how these qualities specifically help them when they return to university. The reference to adding experience to a CV is relevant, though the link to educational benefits could be clearer. Develop fewer points with a concrete example and explain the connection between non-academic experience and later study more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The sequence from reasons for taking a gap to the benefits of travel is generally understandable, and signposts such as “firstly,” “secondly” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the argument. However, the linking is sometimes mechanical, and the progression within paragraphs is not always smooth. The first body paragraph combines travel, adulthood, expenses, work and decision-making in one long sentence, making the relationships between points difficult to follow. The second paragraph also begins with an unclear comparison. Use shorter sentences to separate supporting ideas, and make references explicit—for instance, clarify who “unlike others” refers to and how each benefit connects to returning to education.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “work experience,” “outside world,” “world view,” “mature” and “hands-on experience.” These choices communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision, such as “benifited,” “complitation,” “experiance,” “expences” and “decission.” Some phrases are also unnatural or unclear: “take a year lap,” “value for money” in this context, and “get hands-on experience to the youth.” Aim for accurate spelling and more natural collocations, such as “take a gap year,” “develop financial responsibility” and “provide young people with practical experience.” This would make your argument clearer and more fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and attempts at longer, complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “so that” and “which.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but errors in sentence construction and grammatical forms occur across the response. For example, “As, their are several factors” has faulty punctuation and an incorrect subject form, while “who join university right after the school could not experience” has an incomplete structure and an unclear verb form. The opening sentence is also difficult to control because several ideas are joined together without clear sentence boundaries. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea and a supporting clause, and check articles, agreement, verb forms and punctuation before finishing.
