Student answer (Band 5.5)
I am totally agree with argument to the gap between finishing school and starting university education to gain work experiance or travel. It will help students to decied in which subjects they have more interest rather than decided my their parents or gardiance.
The student who take an internship or work experiance right after finishing their schooling can decided their higher education route in better way, rather than how did not work in real world and do not know the working conditions and persue their higher education in a wrong field. For an example, some students choose medical education due to follow their parents footstep and later face difficulties in choosing right career due to lack of interest or expertise. So, Its better for young students to spent year or two year after finishing school in industiries, where they can gain industy related experiance. Then choose a right higher education in universities according to their interest in this way, they will be more focus and enjoy in their studies during university education.
For the student choose to travel and explore world and meet with different type of professional after finishing school also get benefit. These type of individual can examin the recent world demand by spending their with professional and taking advices from working people. Just like me,i finished my schooling and my father took me a engeinering university for an admision at that time i accept my father decision but later i realized engeinering is not for me because i am not good in physic and understanding a complex mathamatic equations. So, i dorp my engeinering and strat my new path my selecting commerce field.
I am clearly agree with this non-academic experiance will help students to choose right higher education path. As i discuss above it will help students to decide their specilized subject according to their interest rather than imposed by their parents.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear throughout: you agree that time outside education can help young people choose a suitable course. The discussion of work experience and your personal example of leaving engineering for commerce are relevant, and the example of students following their parents into medicine supports your view. This covers the main issue well. However, the benefits of travel are less clearly explained: the point about meeting professionals and learning about demand is brief and does not show in detail how travel itself helps students when they return to study. Some claims, such as that a gap year helps students choose the “right” path, would also benefit from qualification and further support. More balanced development of each benefit would strengthen the response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on work and travel, and a concluding restatement of your opinion. This helps the reader follow the main argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and links between ideas can feel mechanical. For example, “For an example” introduces a relevant case, but the explanation that follows does not always connect smoothly to the claim about work experience. The travel paragraph shifts quickly from meeting professionals to your personal experience of choosing engineering, which is not clearly tied to travel. Use clearer topic sentences and explain the relationship between each example and the paragraph’s main point. More precise referencing would also help readers track who “these type of individual” refers to.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “internship,” “work experience,” “higher education,” “career,” and “specialized subject,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems make the writing less precise. Phrases such as “examin the recent world demand” and “taking advices” are difficult or unnatural, while repeated use of “right” and “experience” limits variety. Spelling errors such as “experiance,” “industiries,” and “mathamatic” are noticeable. Aim to learn common academic collocations and check spelling carefully; more accurate phrasing would make your argument clearer and more fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including explanations with “because” and examples introduced by “rather than.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction sometimes make the reader work to understand the meaning. For instance, “The student who take … can decided” has problems with subject–verb agreement and the verb form, while “For the student choose to travel … also get benefit” is not a complete, well-formed construction. The final sentence, “As i discuss above,” also needs a correctly formed clause. Practise building accurate sentences first, then extend them with subordinate clauses; check agreement, tense, articles, and punctuation during revision.
