Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You identify a relevant position: you suggest that work experience can help young people manage stress, multitask and improve communication. However, the response addresses the question only minimally. It does not clearly state how far you agree or disagree, and it gives little explanation of how these experiences benefit someone after returning to education. The ideas about workplace skills are introduced but not supported with examples or developed reasoning; travel, another part of the prompt, is not discussed. The response is also 147 words below the required minimum, leaving too little space to develop a complete argument. State your position directly, explain each main reason, and add a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: the opening refers to the general issue, and the next paragraph introduces benefits of work. The sequence from work experience to stress management and communication is understandable. However, the overall progression is limited, with no developed conclusion and little connection between the opening and the supporting points. Linking words such as “firstly” and “Although” are attempted, but “Although” does not introduce a complete contrasting clause, so the relationship between ideas is unclear. Use separate paragraphs for your position, supporting reasons and conclusion, and connect each point explicitly to the question.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “work experience,” “communication skill” and “multitasker,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings make the message less clear, such as “jons,” “costumers” and “stay on a track.” Some expressions are also unnatural, including “real life experience” and “become what they wants in their life.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations such as “gain practical experience,” “deal with customers” and “pursue their goals.” A wider range of precise vocabulary would help you explain the benefits and your position more clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response attempts both simple and more complex sentence forms, but control is uneven. For example, “Although their communication skill will enhance after dealing with costumers and they will able to become…” is not a complete, well-formed sentence, and the opening has several clauses joined without clear punctuation. There are also errors in verb forms and agreement: “to achieved” should use the base form after “to,” and “what they wants” does not agree in number. Missing articles and auxiliary verbs in phrases such as “manage a stress” and “they will able” also affect accuracy. Practise building complete sentences and checking verb forms, agreement and articles.
