The bar chart below shows the average number of hours that women in various age groups and women with varying levels of education spend on primary activities each week.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The chart illustrates the total number of hours that women of different age groups, with varying Education level spend on basic activities in the year 2009.

Overall, extracurricular activities including sports were more preferable in women of different age and educational level. There was a drammatic rise in leisur activities in elderly women. On the other hand,here was a Gradual fluctuation in the Houshold activities, while its less common in younger women. Working increased significantly in highly educated women.

Leisure activities were given 36.8 hours per week by young women of age 15 to 19,while it increased significantly to 51.7 hours in women over 75.Women with No high level education were spending 43.1 hours, while as the education level moved higher sports and extracurrilcular activities became less common.

Furthermore, household acitivities declined to just 1.3 ours in aged

women, while it remained stable in women having age group of 35 to 64.

It was also stable in women with different education level.

However, wroking was common in highly educated women that reached to 3
