The bar chart below shows the average number of hours that women in various age groups and women with varying levels of education spend on primary activities each week.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Overall, leisure time was the dominant activity for women in almost all categories, especially for the oldest and least-educated groups. In contrast, time spent on work was lowest among teenagers and retirees, while household work peaked in middle age and was higher among less-educated women.Details 1 - By Age:

Women aged 15 to 19 worked the least at only 6.9 hours per week, but spent the second-highest amount of time on leisure at 36.8 hours and only 6 hours on household tasks.

For working-age women (20 to 54), work hours were stable between 22.1 and 27.3 hours, while leisure remained around 27 to 32.2 hours. Household work rose steadily from 10 hours at 20-24 to 17.3 hours at 45-54.A clear shift occurs after 55. Work drops sharply to 20.9 hours at 55-64 and to just 6.9 hours at 65-74 and 1.3 hours for those 75 and over. Meanwhile, leisure time surges to 44 hours for 65-74 and 51.7 hours for the 75+ group - the highest figure in the chart.
