Student answer (Band 4.5)

As the bar chart shows how often the womens doing activitey as per thier schedule and there routine the hieghest number of the women who play sports and spending thier spare time are in the age of 75 or over the 75 were thier ratio is 51.7 and in that same bar we visibale that work realted activity's were reducing in the number of 1.3 ratio.compartivily if anlyzised by the number and activity household task were more done in the age of 65 to 74 which were on the 21.1 percent

although these all group were devide in multiple bar like it seems that high school diploma group were more active in phsyical and sports activity rather

than a working acticity.but on the otherhand the group whoever pursue bacelor degree are more often into the work activity and perhaps that was also an reason that they are not more capable to do household chores

however if speak about college and associate peoples they are doing preety good in diffrent activities but best in leasuire and sports .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response attempts to cover parts of the visual data, noting specific figures such as 51.7 for leisure and sports among those aged 75 and over, and 21.1 percent for household tasks in the 65 to 74 age group. However, the selection of features is somewhat haphazard, and the reporting lacks a clear overall trend or overview. Furthermore, parts of the data are misinterpreted or poorly explained, such as the claim that those with a bachelor's degree are 'not more capable to do household chores' due to work commitments. This represents an over-generalisation and subjective interpretation rather than objective reporting. Overall, the task is addressed only partially, placing the response in Band 5.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The response lacks standard paragraphing, being written as a single, dense block of text, which significantly hinders readability and logical progression. While some cohesive ties are attempted using transitional words like 'although', 'on the otherhand', and 'however', their mechanical and inaccurate usage creates confusion rather than smooth transitions. Referencing between ideas is frequently unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of comparisons. The overall arrangement fails to provide a clear structure for comparing age groups and educational attainment, aligning the text with Band 4.0 descriptors.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is very basic, repetitive, and plagued by frequent spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'activitey' for activity, 'hieghest' for highest, 'visibale' for visible, 'compartivily' for comparatively, 'anlyzised' for analysed, and 'leasuire' for leisure. Attempts to use less common or academic vocabulary result in inaccurate collocations and incorrect forms, such as 'work realted activity's' and 'bacelor degree'. The lexical range is limited and frequently strains the reader's understanding, earning a Band 4.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

Grammatical control is extremely weak throughout the response. The text consists largely of long, run-on sentences lacking proper punctuation and sentence boundaries. There is a very limited range of structures, with frequent errors in basic grammar, subject-verb agreement, and verb tenses (e.g., 'the womens doing activitey', 'the 75 were thier ratio is 51.7', 'these all group were devide'). Complex structures attempted by the student are consistently faulty. These persistent errors cause frequent strain and difficulty for the reader, fitting the Band 4.0 criteria.
