The bar chart below shows the average number of hours that women in various age groups and women with varying levels of education spend on primary activities each week.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart illustrates information about the average hours per week womwn spent in selected primary activities, by age and educational attainment in 2009.

Overall, it can be seen that elderly women recorded the highest figure as compared to the other age categories. It can also be noticed that young girls were spent less hours on working and work related activities and on household chores. Mostly women didicated her time to leisure and sports activities. Less than a high school diploma women spent less hours on household and work related activities.

In 2009, 75 and over aged women spent 57.7 hours on leisure and sports as compared to the 65 to 74 aged which spent 44 hours.15 to 19 aged women recorded 36.8 hours for leisure and sports, while 6.9 hours for working and 6 hours for household activities. 20 to 24 and 25 to 34 aged ladies spent 32.2 and 28.6 hours on leisure and sports, whereas 22.1 and 27 hours on work related activities and 10 and 10.2 hours on household activities.

Regarding the educatinal attainment, 25 and over aged women with less than high school diploma recorded 43.1 hours for leisure and sports as compared to the high school graduates that recorded 38.9 hours. Some college and associate degree women dedicated most of her time to leisure and sports which is 32.4 hours and 23. 3 hours to working and 16.7 hours to household activities.
