IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The bar chart below shows the average number of hours that women in various age groups and women with varying levels of education spend on primary activities each week.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 4.5)

The bar graph belo illustrate the number of hours various women of different age group spent according to their educational attainment in 2009.

Moreover, the bar graph also shows their degree and level of education with their ages too. And it also demonstrate their time spent in different activities like household activities, leisure and sports, and work related activities.

First of all, women in their teen age mostly spent their time in leasure and sports more than approximately 30 hours per week. and they usually do not take intrest in household and other work activities. Womes after the age of 30 maintain a positive routine they keep a significant balance in their work household activities and leasuire and sports. Moreover women after the age of 60-75 or more mostly spent their time in leasuire and sports activities. And most of these womens are less then high school diploma and only few are graduated.

In conclusion, most of the womens spent their time in leisure and household activities and only few of them likes to work who are graduated.
