The bar chart below shows the average number of hours that women in various age groups and women with varying levels of education spend on primary activities each week.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart illustrates the average number of hours per week that women spent on three main activities- work and work- related activities, leisure and sports, and household activites- in 2009, according to their age and educational attainment.

Overall, leisure and sports accounted for the largest amount of time among most age groups, particularly older women. In contrast, time spent on paid work was highest among middle-aged women and those with higher educational qualification. Household activites generally occupied less time than leisure activities.

Regarding age, women aged 15-19 spent approximately 37 hours per week on leisure and sports,while their working hours were considerably lower. Work- related activites increased with age, reaching around 27 hours among women aged 25-54, before declining among older women. Leisure time, meanwhile, rose to approximately 52 hours per week for those aged 75 and above. Time devouted to household activities generally increased with age, peaking at about 21 hours among women aged 65-74.

In terms of educational attainment, women with bachelor's degrees or higher spent approximately 27 hours per week working, compared with around 11 hours among those without a high school diploma. Conversely, the less educated group devouted more time to leisure and household activites than the most highly educated group.
