Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You identify the main broad patterns: leisure is prominent across age groups, household activity generally rises with age, and women with higher qualifications spend more time working. However, some details are inaccurate or unclear. For example, the 15–19 group spends 36.8 hours on leisure, not 38.8, and women without a high-school diploma work 10.7 hours, not 8.3. The claim that leisure is the most time-consuming activity across all age groups is also too broad: working slightly exceeds leisure for ages 25–34 and 35–44. Your overview and education comparison are relevant, but the age-group trends and key contrasts need more precise support.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall arrangement, with an introduction, an overview, and separate discussion of age and education. This makes the information easy to follow. You also use linking expressions such as “Overall,” “Moreover,” and “As for.” However, some links are mechanical or attached to incomplete sentences: “Which remained the most time-consuming task” and “Which fell sharply” cannot stand alone as written. “As for, educational attainment” also interrupts the flow. To strengthen progression, connect these points to the preceding sentences and use comparisons to guide the reader through the figures, rather than relying mainly on transition phrases.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of task-related vocabulary, including “educational attainment,” “devoted,” “time-consuming,” and “varied less significantly.” These choices help communicate the chart’s subject. However, spelling errors and imprecise collocations are noticeable, including “leisurs,” “fot,” “comence,” “lisure,” and “pent.” Some wording is also unnatural or vague: “working … is famous within the age” does not clearly describe the figures, and “lowest time ratio” is not an appropriate way to report hours. Use accurate, conventional chart language and check spelling carefully; for example, describe how many hours women “spent” on an activity or say that a figure “was highest” or “declined.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple and more complex forms, including the contrast in “While household activities increased as the age went up” and the comparison beginning “compared with.” However, several sentence-structure and agreement problems reduce accuracy. “Which remained the most time-consuming task” and “Which fell sharply” are fragments, while “women … spending varying amount” lacks a correctly formed main verb and plural agreement. The construction “women with a bachelor's degree or higher … pent … compared with only 8.3 hour” also contains form and number errors. Aim to make each sentence complete, check subject–verb agreement and singular/plural forms, and punctuate introductory clauses so that they connect clearly to the main clause.
