Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You provide an overview and cover both age and education groups, identifying several relevant extremes. However, some key figures are misassigned: 32.2 hours is the leisure figure for women aged 45–54, not their working time, whose peak is 27.0 hours (shared with ages 25–34). The 75-and-over group has the highest leisure figure, 51.7, but its household figure is 19.6; the household peak by age is 21.1 for ages 65–74. Your education comparison also says women with less than high school education spent the most time on household activities, although their 20.0 hours is below the 21.1 age-group peak and the education figures are not compared accurately. More precise comparisons across all three activities would make the overview more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, an overview, and paragraphs that report details for age and educational attainment. This makes the main categories easy to follow. Linking phrases such as “Overall,” “On the other hand,” and “Concurrently” show an effort to connect ideas, but some transitions are mechanical or do not express a clear contrast. The second detail paragraph also combines several age-group extremes in a way that makes the comparisons harder to track. Organise the details more systematically—for example, report the age trends first and then the education trends, comparing the three activities within each group. Clearer references and fewer repeated contrast markers would improve progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant task vocabulary, including “age groups,” “educational background,” “work related activities,” and “household activities,” so the topic is generally clear. However, several spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural phrases reduce accuracy: “lesuire,” “maximun,” “vlue,” and “Similarlry” are noticeable, while “the most number of hours” and “were done mostly by women” are awkward for describing chart data. Repetition of “hours spent” also limits flexibility. Use standard collocations such as “the highest figure was recorded for” and “spent time on,” and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary would also help distinguish the activity with the highest value from the group that recorded it.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex forms, including the overview sentence beginning “Overall” and the comparison introduced by “while.” The meaning is usually recoverable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “the hours spend” needs a past participle, and “on weekly basis” requires an article. The phrase “were in age of group of 45 to 54” has an unclear grammatical structure, while “women who have bachelor's and higher degree” has problems with tense and number. There are also awkward sentence constructions in “the maximun number of hours spent … were on leisure.” Aim for direct sentence patterns, consistent past tense for the 2009 data, and accurate articles and plural forms. This would make your comparisons easier to read.
