Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You cover both age and education groups and provide an overview, identifying leisure as the leading activity overall and noting the high leisure figures among the youngest and oldest women. Several comparisons are relevant, such as the low work hours among women over 65 and the relationship between education and time spent working. However, some details are inaccurate or unclear: women aged 75 and over recorded 51.7 hours of leisure, not 53.7, and the 35–44 group did not spend almost the same time on work and leisure (26.3 versus 27.4). The overview also misses the broad patterns that work generally rises to middle age before falling, while household activity increases with age. More precise selection and reporting of these trends would strengthen the response.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, an overview, and separate paragraphs for age and educational attainment. This makes the two sets of categories easy to identify, and linking phrases such as “As shown in the image” and “Moreover” help signal progression. However, some sentences combine several comparisons and figures, making the relationships difficult to follow, particularly the long sentence beginning “As shown in the image.” Cohesion is also occasionally mechanical or unclear: “On contrast” does not express the intended contrast accurately, and “which are 32.2, 36.2, 44 and 53.7 respectively” requires the reader to infer the age groups. Use shorter comparison-focused sentences and clearer references to categories.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use a reasonable range of activity-related vocabulary, including “leisure and sports,” “work related,” “household activities,” and “qualification categories.” However, several choices are informal, imprecise, or incorrectly collocated for an academic chart summary. “Fun activities,” “ladies,” and “cooking and washing” are less suitable than neutral chart terminology, while “On contrast” and “similar about of time” are awkward expressions. Spelling errors such as “deplicts,” “spendig,” “wahsing,” and “palying” are noticeable and reduce accuracy. Aim for consistent, formal wording and check spelling carefully; precise terms such as “spent,” “recorded,” and “household tasks” will make comparisons clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including comparisons linked with “while” and “which,” and the main message is generally understandable. However, some sentences contain errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, or sentence construction. For example, “followed by ladies in early to mid twenties, spent slightly less hours” lacks a clear grammatical connection, and “Associate degree spent” uses an inanimate qualification as the subject of an action. In “while ladies over 65 spent as less as,” the comparative structure is not formed correctly. There are also awkward shifts between past and present forms, such as “spent” and “spending.” Build comparisons with complete clauses and check that each subject, verb, and time reference agrees.
