Student answer (Band 7.0)
Nowadays in some communities obesity is considered as a main problem because it causes several health issues. Some people think that advertise on junk food must be banned as it encourage people to consume more unhealthy food. Others believe that junk food advertising does not cause the problem of obesity. I believe that, although advertise can increase it's demand, other factors are also included for obesity . This essay will discuss the both views and will explain my opinion.
On the one hand, increasing number of advertising on junk food encourage people to buy them. People specially children and teenage are easily motivated by the advertisement on television , social pages. Sometimes they also offer delicious pictures with discounts. For this young ages try to taste them because they are available elsewhere. overconsuming of this types of unhealthy food causes obesity and other health related issues. SO it is important to prohibit advertisement of such types of food .
On the other hand, some believe that, only advertising of junk food does not lead to obesity. There are other issues like unhealthy diet, lack of physical activities, excessive screen time also some genetic factors causes obesity. So that only banning advertisement on junk food cannot solve the problem. Furthermore consciousness among people also necessary.
In conclusion, although junk food advertising encourages unhealthy eating habit, I believe that, obesity is also caused by several factors like unhealthy diet, less physical activities etc. Government should both regulate junk food advertising and promote healthy lifestyle to reduce obesity.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
You have addressed all parts of the prompt by discussing both sides of the argument and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, though the development is somewhat brief. For instance, while you mention that children are motivated by advertisements, you could have expanded on the psychological impact or provided a more specific example of how this leads to health issues. The conclusion effectively synthesizes your position. To reach a higher band, ensure that each body paragraph contains more detailed supporting evidence or examples to fully flesh out your arguments.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'Furthermore' to guide the reader. However, some transitions are a bit mechanical, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. For example, the transition between the discussion of advertising and the mention of genetic factors in the second body paragraph is slightly abrupt. Paragraphing is used appropriately, and the central ideas are generally easy to follow throughout the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'prohibit', 'motivated', and 'consciousness'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'advertise on junk food' (should be 'junk food advertising') and 'overconsuming of this types' (should be 'overconsumption of these types'). These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of your writing. To improve, focus on using collocations correctly and expanding your range of academic vocabulary to avoid repetitive phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'advertise can increase it's demand' (should be 'advertising can increase its demand'), 'For this young ages try to taste them' (should be 'For this reason, young people try them'), and 'consciousness among people also necessary' (missing verb 'is'). While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your meaning, they occur frequently enough to impact the overall fluency. Increasing your control over subject-verb agreement and article usage will help improve your score.
