Student answer (Band 5.5)
Its an undeniable fact that great number of individuals are avid to eat junk food and as a result they face the problem of overweighting, several people belive that it is happening due to advertisement of fast food an it should be abandon. While the others consider that advertisement is not the reason behind obesity between people. At some extent I agree with the reason that advertisement is the cause of overweighting because of several reason.
The observation through our society demonstrates that there are plethora of advertising companies which advertise various types of fast food. When a new hotel, restaurant and food market is opened so the investors prefer to get help from them for advertising their businesses. So mostly people get attention from such type of advertisements and will to eat that type of food. They become avid to eat or like to try new variety of food. The people who are already avoiding such food get attracted by the over animated ads so the food in advertisements looked to be more fascinating but in fact it is not so good as displaying on screen. Furthermore, I reckon that not youngsters but also elder people are now consider the junk food as a part of their lives. Companies in fond of getting fame advertise their food in an captivating manner so their publicity grow as well as their business.
Well I consider that people shoulod advertise their product but in a limited way due to the fact that the public whose are not fond of these kinds of food get fascinated by over advertisements.
Turning to the other side that mostly people consider that advertisements are not the
cause of obesity due to several reasons. The very first thing is that it depends on a person that how much he is loyal with his body or health. If he strictly follow his diet then no any ad can divert him from his diet. Moreover, mostly people do not take care of their fitness even youngsters like to have junk food instead of healthy food. The other significant factor is that public do not get medical consideration from their doctors. I belive that doctos should give some pieces of advises to their patients to avoid unhealthy food.
In conclusion there are the several resons to abandon advertisements of unhealthy
food and there are also various conclusions about non serious behaviour of people about their health having said that advertisements.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on junk food advertising and providing a personal opinion, which is introduced in the first paragraph and reiterated throughout. The ideas are generally relevant, discussing how advertisements influence people and how personal responsibility plays a role. However, some ideas lack deep extension and tend to rely on generalisations, such as the claim that people simply need to be more loyal to their health or that doctors should advise patients. The position is clear, but the development of arguments is somewhat repetitive and under-developed in places, placing it firmly at a Band 6.0 level.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with clear attempts at paragraphing to separate the introduction, body paragraphs addressing both sides, and a conclusion. However, the progression of ideas is sometimes hindered by mechanical or faulty use of cohesive devices, such as 'Turning to the other side that mostly people consider...' and 'Having said that advertisements' which is left dangling at the very end. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and logical links between sentences feel abrupt at times. Paragraphing is used, but transitions between thoughts are clunky, preventing the text from reaching a Band 7.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The writer attempts to use less common vocabulary items such as 'plethora', 'fascinating', and 'captivating', but these are often accompanied by word choice and collocation errors, such as 'overweighting' instead of 'obesity' or 'over animated ads'. There are also frequent spelling and morphological issues (e.g., 'belive', 'shoulod', 'doctos', 'resons'). The range is adequate for the task, allowing the student to communicate their main ideas, but inaccuracies in word formation and spelling place this performance at Band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, as seen in sentences like 'When a new hotel, restaurant and food market is opened so the investors prefer to get help from them...'. However, there are persistent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('great number of individuals are', 'elder people are now consider'), incorrect prepositions ('at some extent'), and awkward phrasing. While meaning is generally conveyed, the frequency of basic and complex structural errors keeps the score at a Band 5.0.
