Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The student has failed to meet the minimum length requirement, containing only 123 words instead of the required 250 words. This severely restricts the development of the response. While the student attempts to acknowledge both views in the introduction, the body paragraphs are heavily truncated and incomplete, leaving the arguments entirely under-developed. For example, the second paragraph breaks off mid-sentence ('avoiding these kind of food'). Because the task is only partially addressed due to severe under-length, it falls into Band 4.0 descriptors for Task Achievement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The response shows severe structural deficiencies, largely caused by the text cutting off prematurely. Paragraphing is poorly handled, with the second body paragraph left unfinished and disjointed. Cohesive devices are minimal and misused, as seen in awkward transitions like 'In other words, avoiding oil and food frying is good for getting fitness body, In addition, avoiding these kind of food'. While there is an introductory attempt to signal logical progression ('On one hand'), the overall arrangement lacks coherent progression and readability, fitting the Band 4 descriptors.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The lexical range is very limited and basic. The student relies on repetitive phrasing and basic vocabulary, such as 'big issue', 'common of obesity', and 'get healthier lifestyle'. There are noticeable word choice errors and unnatural collocations, such as 'getting fitness body' and 'advertisment of contained fat food'. Spelling and word formation are frequently inaccurate. Because the vocabulary is repetitive and contains errors that strain the reader's understanding, it aligns with a Band 4.0 score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

Grammatical range is extremely limited, consisting mostly of poorly constructed simple sentences and faulty attempts at complex structures. There are persistent errors in punctuation, capitalization, and syntax throughout the text, such as missing capital letters at the start of sentences ('there is no denying', 'while it is commonly'). Subject-verb agreement and article usage are also flawed, as in 'the obesity among society' and 'ads doesn't have'. These frequent errors frequently distort meaning and create difficulty for the reader, matching Band 4.
