Student answer (Band 5.0)
In today's era, obesity is one of the major concern of people, where some believe that, publicity of the packed or processed food is major cause of gain fat, and they are willing to banned it. But there are other group of people who thought only advertising is not a cause of obesity, so it should not be banned.
Packed and processed food are mostly consumed by the people when they are known about it. Advertising is the only medium which makes people know about these type of food (Junk food). Without the publicity majority people are unknow about those type of eatable things are in the market. For instance, Kurkure is the one of the most popular junk food which is consumed by the people, and they knoe it when they saw it on the hording board which kept there for advertising. Due to this condition people are blaming it, and trying to banned it.
However, packed food are the one of the reason which triggered obesity, and majority of people were known about this food by publicity. But due to adveristing of products are needed for general public to be known about everythings, and decide rather consume it or not. It totally depends on the decision of an indiividual. For instance, although many food production company advertise their product, but they don't push anyone to take or to consume. Because of that these people are in the against to banned advertising.
At the end, as per in my opinion advertising of anything including, junk food are not should banned, because everyone have rights to produce product sell and it in the market, for that they are free to advertise.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—that junk food advertising is to blame for obesity and should be banned, and that it does not contribute and should remain—while also offering a clear, albeit brief, personal opinion in the conclusion. The ideas are relevant and supported with a real-world example like Kurkure, though the development is somewhat limited and repetitive. The arguments tend to be surface-level rather than deeply extended, which places this response securely at Band 5.5. The position is discernible throughout, but the lack of fully developed argumentation prevents it from reaching a higher band score.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The text is divided into four paragraphs, showing a basic attempt at structuring an essay with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and confusing sentence connections. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or repetitively (e.g., 'For instance', 'Because of that', 'At the end, as per in my opinion'). Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion is weak, leading to a choppy reading experience. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as pronoun use referring back to previous nouns. This level of organisation aligns closely with the Band 5 descriptor.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student uses a limited vocabulary range with noticeable errors in word choice and collocation. Examples include 'gain fat' instead of 'weight gain', 'unknow' instead of 'unaware', 'hording board' instead of 'billboard' or 'hoarding', and 'eatable things'. Spelling mistakes and word-formation errors occur frequently (e.g., 'adveristing', 'indiividual'). While the meaning can generally be extracted, the vocabulary is basic and repetitive ('packed and processed food', 'advertising', 'consume'), causing significant strain for the reader. These features reflect a typical Band 5 performance for Lexical Resource.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but many of the complex structures are faulty and contain severe grammatical errors. Examples include 'obesity is one of the major concern', 'they are willing to banned it', 'Without the publicity majority people are unknow about those type of eatable things', and 'advertising of anything including, junk food are not should banned'. Punctuation is also problematic, with misplaced commas frequently interrupting the flow. Frequent errors in verb tenses, modal verbs, subject-verb agreement, and passive/active voice make the text difficult to parse in places, placing it at a Band 4.5.
