Student answer (Band 5.0)
Junk food is the major concern of the societies nowadays believing that the causes of major health problems like obesity. Some people believe that advertisement of junk food is the main cause. However we should not neglect this but I think that is not an issue.
Junk food has been strongly integrated in our daily life. People are influenced through different fast food dishes and the advertisements showing tasty and unique must try food encouraging people to try and then make them addicted to it. Some brands offer deals which attract people to avail it and purchase much items at once in discounted price that is one of the reason that brands do through advertisement and has affect on people's life that led them consume more junk food.
However, it totally depends on the people's mindset that what they do as it depends on there decision that what is best for them. Junk food adevertisement is the brand's strateg to promote their items and new launches. People herefore, they try new food items and in some times they are dependent on it for example the fast food is easy to get in hurry that's why they prefer time over the food what they eat but it should be assured that to maintain the other diet so that junk food could not become the health issue ike obesity.
In conclusion, advertisments are just the promotion of brands and their items through which people get familiar with new market innings and it should not be banned but people should be responsible to take right decision by keeping the problems in mind.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You present a relevant opinion: you argue that advertising should not be banned and that individuals should make responsible choices. You also acknowledge the opposing view by explaining how appealing adverts and discounts can encourage people to buy more. However, the discussion is only partial: the case for banning advertising is not developed beyond these points, and your own position is not fully clear in the opening, where you write, “I think that is not an issue.” The essay also gives limited explanation of how advertising relates to obesity specifically, rather than simply increased consumption. Develop both sides with clearer reasoning and a concrete example, then state your position directly and consistently.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The paragraphs broadly separate the argument about advertising’s influence from the argument about personal choice, and transitions such as “However” and “In conclusion” help signal movement between sections. Nevertheless, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the second paragraph moves from advertising to addiction and discounts without clearly connecting each point, while the third contains several ideas in one long sequence. Some links are unclear, as in “People herefore, they try new food items.” Use topic sentences to establish each paragraph’s purpose, organise supporting points in a logical order, and make references and transitions more precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “obesity,” “discounted price,” “promote,” and “diet,” and you attempt phrases such as “integrated in our daily life.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes meaning harder to follow. Examples include “major concern of the societies,” “must try food,” and “market innings”; the last phrase does not communicate a clear idea. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “adevertisement,” “strateg,” and “ike.” Build a more precise set of topic-related expressions and check spelling and collocations. Prefer natural phrases such as “advertising campaign,” “tempting offers,” and “contribute to weight gain.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “that,” “which,” and “as,” but complex sentences are often faulty and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to understand. For example, “Junk food is the major concern of the societies nowadays believing that the causes…” lacks a complete, clear structure, and “it depends on there decision that what is best for them” has problems with clause construction and pronoun form. Agreement and verb patterns are also inconsistent, as in “one of the reason” and “has affect.” Work first on producing accurate simple sentences, then combine ideas with controlled clauses. Check subject–verb agreement, articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries during revision.
