Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some individuals in different societies believe that, the major issue of obisity belongs to fast food and should be banned even its advertisement but other believes that obisity does not depend on junk foods. If junk food get banned, then easy access to time saving food will be difficult and advantage is that, people will use healthy food.
The junk food should not be banned and its advestising should be continued, because it is a part of our lives. If we ban fast food because fast food already cooked, then easy availability of food will be difficult, because making foodl takes to much time, like rice and it will waste our time .
For instance, If they banned junk food then we can not easily access other food we need to go to the restaurant but junk food easily availabe even in small stalls around the streets.
On the other hand the junk food also have some drawbacks. Some junk foods contain to much carbohydrates which is not healthy for our life and have some chances for obisity. Furthermore, if that type of food is banned, then some people will use healthy food in restaurants like vegetarian food, high proten taken food which is beef or mutton.
For example, In our university one of my friend stop taking junk foods then its weight decrease from 90 kg to 60kg.
Overall, the junk food have both advantages and drawbacks, firstly it secure our time but unhealthy for our life. As I believe individuals should take junk foods and see its advertising because in junk food they use the same ingradients as they use in other restaurants so it should not be banned because it does not effect over health we should exercise for obisity.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You present a clear overall preference against banning junk-food advertising, and you mention both the convenience of fast food and possible health drawbacks. However, the discussion of the two views is only partial: the opposing argument is not explained in depth, and the claim that advertising should continue is not supported with evidence about advertising itself. The example of your university friend losing weight after stopping junk food is relevant to health, but it does not establish how much advertising contributes to obesity. The conclusion also introduces exercise without developing it earlier. To strengthen the response, explain each side’s reasoning more fully and make your own position consistent and directly connected to the question of advertising.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a basic paragraph structure, with an opening, separate discussion points and a conclusion, and signposts such as “On the other hand” help indicate a shift. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the first paragraph combines both views and the later paragraphs do not clearly develop them in a balanced sequence. Some links are mechanical or unclear, particularly the repeated “because” clauses and the transition from banning food to choosing restaurant meals. References such as “that type of food” and “it” can also leave the reader unsure what is meant. Organise one paragraph around the case for restrictions and another around the case against them, then use clear links to connect each reason to the question.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a small set of relevant topic words, including “advertising,” “healthy food,” “carbohydrates,” and “obesity,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, vocabulary is repetitive, and several spelling and word-choice errors make the writing less clear, such as “obisity,” “advestising,” “ingradients,” and “proten.” Some phrases are imprecise or unnatural, including “secure our time,” “high proten taken food,” and “does not effect over health.” Aim to use more precise expressions for the issue and its causes, and check spelling carefully. For example, distinguish between “junk food” and “junk-food advertising,” since the task asks specifically whether advertising should be banned.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “if,” and “which,” but control is inconsistent. Errors in agreement and verb forms occur in phrases such as “other believes,” “junk food get banned,” and “the junk food also have.” Articles and sentence boundaries are also problematic: “one of my friend” needs a plural noun, while several sentences join multiple ideas with commas, as in the opening and the final sentence. These patterns sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise building accurate short sentences first, then combine them with one controlled subordinate clause. Check subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation when editing.
