Student answer (Band 5.0)
People have different views regarding whether junk food or obesity. While some argue that advertising of junk food affect on individuals, other believe that fast food are not the real factor that lead people to obeise, this essay will discuss both perspactives before explaining why i believe advertising should not be banned because people are taken their responsbility by their own.
On the one hand, many people believe that who get obesity are influnced by junky food advertisemnt, the main reason for this is that people are not disciplined more and they just seeking for easiest way to find their comfort, for example, many people choose prepared meals which countain a huge calories just beacause are lazy to prepare food for themeselves, as result, that surplus of calories in the long term it can be the main reason to be a fat person.
On the other hand, others believe that advertising should not be banned from social media or television, this largely because people can dicied what they want to eat, for instance, people can contro themeseleves againt the lust of eating by doin a balanced diet with providing some junk food once at month.
In conclusion, althought both arguments have merit, i believe that food advertisment is not the main reason because people can decied which lifestyle they want and they responsble for what they eating.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You present both positions and make your own view clear: you argue that advertising should not be banned because individuals are responsible for their choices. The examples about prepared meals and choosing a balanced diet are relevant, but the discussion is only partial and the ideas remain under-developed. In particular, the first body paragraph focuses more on convenience, discipline and calorie intake than on how advertising itself influences eating habits; the opposing view therefore needs a clearer explanation of the advertising–obesity link. Your conclusion repeats your position without adding support. The response is also 23 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop both sides. Explain each view more fully and support it with a specific example or evidence.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting opposing views, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal this organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and the first body paragraph moves from advertising to people’s lack of discipline and then to calorie intake without clearly connecting these points. Some linking is also mechanical, while the opening sentence is difficult to follow and does not establish the issue clearly. Improve the logical links between each claim and its example, and use pronouns and transitions carefully so readers can follow how each point supports your argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “junk food,” “advertising,” “obesity,” “calories,” and “balanced diet,” so the main subject is generally identifiable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or spellings make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “obeise,” “perspactives,” “junky food,” and “lust of eating.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “people are taken their responsibility by their own” and “a huge calories.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise terms such as “high-calorie meals,” “individual responsibility,” and “food marketing” would help you express the argument more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a contrast in the introduction and examples introduced with “for example” and “for instance.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence boundaries can make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “advertising of junk food affect on individuals” has an incorrect verb pattern and agreement, while “people can contro themeseleves … by doin a balanced diet” contains problems with the verb construction. The opening sentence also lacks a clear grammatical structure, and the conclusion joins ideas awkwardly. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check punctuation.
