Student answer (Band 5.0)
Obesity is blamed as a big source of issues in many areas. Many people contant that it is happaning just because of the increasing number of advertising which is accessable of the offline and online in both palses and that should be banded. While others believe that it is junk food advertising is not the part of the problem th rise abesity and that should not be banned. However i tottaly agreed that junk food advertaising is not the problem and there is no need to banned.
On the one hand, internet is playing vitral role on individuals life in the recents years. people use it almost everytime for verious pourpus.for examples, a student who are useing internet for video class oe somethink first he or she have to seed add which is related to every thinks espacially junk food. so after that thay try to buy this and eat. with this process they take lot this many time. consequently they get separed with healthy food. so if they are doing this many time it couse several think like obesity.
On the other hand, it is justifideable why people taking junk food instent of healthy food. in the recent years people work hours requird long time because of this people get exhausted and don't really want to cook for themself. so because of this they normally try to buy food from shopes. Most of the time those places food made with lot of oile to make it more delicious and attrected the buyers. After having them the people get a fan of those, although want to save time they take this step. As a result they gain waite. which access the disease into their body and make their life painfull.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear opinion in the introduction, stating that advertising is not the problem and should not be banned, and you include two body paragraphs that relate to obesity. However, the discussion does not fully address both views: the first paragraph suggests advertising can encourage people to buy junk food, but it does not explain why this supports banning advertisements; the second focuses mainly on long working hours and convenience rather than explaining why advertising itself does not contribute. The conclusion is also missing, so your final position is not reinforced after the discussion. To develop the response, explain each side directly, support the claims with a specific example, and show how your own view follows from the evidence.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction and two body paragraphs, and the phrases “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” signal a contrast between the views. This gives the reader some basic organisation. However, the progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the first moves from internet use to advertisements, buying food, and obesity without clearly connecting each step, while the second shifts from work hours to cooking, shop food, and weight gain. Linking words such as “so” and “because of this” are repeated, and some references, including “those” and “this step,” are unclear. Use a clearer sequence of claim, explanation, and example in each paragraph, and add a concluding paragraph to complete the overall progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “advertising,” “exhausted,” “delicious,” and “obesity,” and you try to express cause and effect with phrases such as “As a result.” However, the range is limited and many spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the response difficult to understand, for example “contant,” “accessable,” “separed,” and “waite.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “a big source of issues” and “access the disease into their body.” Aim to learn accurate topic vocabulary and common collocations, then check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise expressions would help you explain the relationship between advertising, food choices, and health.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “if they are doing this many time it couse several think like obesity” and a contrast introduced by “although.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries can make meaning hard to follow. For example, “a student who are useing internet” has incorrect agreement and verb construction, while “people work hours requird long time” lacks a clear grammatical structure. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, with several sentences beginning in lowercase or running together. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns first, then combine clauses using clear conjunctions and punctuation.
