Student answer (Band 5.0)
There is a debate that junk food becomes the main issues of increase of obesity whereas, others feel that fast food is not the problem of obesity and must not be banned. This essay will discussed both the views followed by my opinion.
To begin with, there are several reason of believing junk food is the main problem of obesity. The first reason is advertisment of fast food. To explain, consumption of undiet food is becoming serious every day which can leads to different health problem. Similarly, the another reason is people taste. Elaborating further, individuals doesnot want to take care of themselves and they only want to eat tasty items and enjoy on their food and make difficult for future.
On the other hand, there are also various factors of junk food not impacting on obesity. Firstly, there should be a person self control. For instance, if people cannot manage their balance on things which can hamper them are the worst types of people on itself. Secondly, unnutrition food can be avoided. To clarify, individuals only focusing on what good for them can be a significant reward to own selves where they don't give importance on other opinion only. moreover, people should look on own what they are lacking behind.
In conclusion, it is the people mind that they are making bad others things while, they can do better in own self. As per my opinion, I believe, fast food didnot impact on obesity and people should be responsible for eating any items that can affect our health.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both sides of the debate and state your view in the conclusion: “fast food didnot impact on obesity.” However, the discussion only partially answers the question because the arguments are brief and sometimes unclear. The first paragraph mentions advertising and taste, but does not explain how advertising encourages people to eat more or provide a specific example. The opposing view focuses on self-control and personal responsibility, yet the point about people avoiding unhealthy food is not developed into a clear argument about why advertising should remain legal. Your position is present, but it would be stronger if stated clearly in the introduction and supported with reasons and relevant examples throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two paragraphs presenting opposing views, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is less consistent. For example, the point about “people taste” moves to individuals enjoying food and then to future difficulty without making the connection explicit. Some linking expressions, including “To clarify” and “Similarly,” do not clearly show how the following idea relates to the previous one. Develop one main point at a time, and use pronouns or linking phrases only when their reference and logical relationship are clear.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “advertisment,” “consumption,” “self control,” and “responsible,” and you use some paraphrasing such as “junk food” and “fast food.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make ideas difficult to understand. “Undiet food” and “unnutrition food” are not natural expressions; “unhealthy food” or “nutritionally poor food” would be clearer. Phrases such as “manage their balance on things” and “lacking behind” also do not convey the intended meaning precisely. Spelling errors such as “advertisment” and “didnot” further affect accuracy. Build a bank of natural topic-specific collocations and check spelling and word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a relative clause in “things which can hamper them,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, control is inconsistent, particularly in longer sentences. Examples include “This essay will discussed,” where the verb form is incorrect, and “consumption … can leads,” where the modal should be followed by the base verb. There are also agreement and article problems in “there are several reason” and “the another reason,” as well as errors in “individuals doesnot.” Punctuation around linking words is sometimes faulty, as in the opening sentence. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, and keep complex sentences shorter until you can control them reliably.
