Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, obesity problem was faced by many people due to certain issues. It is often people argue that campaign of junk food was major problem, which was developing obesity issues, whereas fewer people also argue that fast food advertisement do not have any role to cause the obesity problem and these advertisements will remain continue to display. Considering both sides, I can say that advertisement is not a major issue behind the problem of obesity, but unhealthy lifestyle is.
The food company who makes the junk food they will encourage their social media team to advertise the products for better selling. These kinds of advertisements were encouraged the people to eat and enjoy the junk food. However, the problem of obesity is not created by just consuming these foods but unhealthy lifestyle such as avoiding doing exercise, laziness for hard work and excessive eating of unhealthy food can commence the problem of obesity. Moreover, the people think that due to the marketing of these junk foods all are attracted to it and that becomes the main reason behind obesity and advertisements need to be revoked.
The obesity is not a spontaneous problem the main reason behind this issue was laziness and not doing any physical hard work by eating such foods. The people who doing yoga, gymnastic and playing any sports such as cricket, football, tennis and doing any physical activity which contribute to burn our body's extra celery and fat can never face the obesity issue. So, the people need to move towards healthier lifestyle which balance the problem of obesity rather than demanding of unnecessary demand for banned of advertisements.
In the conclusion, the junk food seller can advertise their products. However, as the problem of obesity is not an overnight issue people have to encourage them self to being more physical fit and avoid eating such food.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You present a clear overall view: advertising is not the main cause of obesity, and lifestyle is more important. You also acknowledge the opposing argument that advertising attracts people to junk food and should be banned. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The case for banning advertising is stated briefly, without explaining how marketing might influence children or encourage frequent consumption, while the argument against a ban relies mainly on exercise and personal habits. The claim that people who exercise “can never face the obesity issue” is too absolute and needs qualification or evidence. To strengthen the response, explain both sides more fully and support your position with a specific, relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the reader can follow the broad contrast between advertising and lifestyle. You use linking expressions such as “However,” “Moreover” and “In the conclusion.” Nevertheless, progression within the body is not always clear: the first body paragraph moves from companies’ advertising to lifestyle causes and then back to the argument for banning adverts. The next paragraph repeats the emphasis on laziness and physical activity rather than developing a distinct point. Some connections are also unclear, including “these advertisements will remain continue to display.” Organise each paragraph around one main argument, and use clearer references and transitions to show how each point supports your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “junk food,” “advertisements,” “obesity,” “physical activity” and “healthier lifestyle,” so the subject is generally clear. There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “excessive eating” and “marketing.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make parts difficult to understand. For example, “campaign of junk food” does not clearly express advertising, “extra celery and fat” appears to confuse “calories” with “celery,” and “unnecessary demand for banned of advertisements” is not idiomatic. Repeated use of “problem,” “people” and “advertisements” also limits precision. Build a wider set of accurate collocations for causes, influence and prevention, and check that each word conveys the intended meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “whereas,” “which” and “However,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty. Errors occur in verb forms and agreement, as in “obesity problem was faced” and “advertisements were encouraged,” and in sentence construction, as in “The food company who makes the junk food they will encourage.” There are also problems with articles, plurals and verb patterns, for example “the people who doing yoga” and “encourage them self to being.” These recurring errors sometimes make the reader work to understand the point. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly formed subordinate clause, then check tense, agreement and verb patterns.
