Student answer (Band 5.0)
In some societies, obesity is considered as a major problem. A few people believe main cause of this is advertising junk food and should be banned where as, others believed that advertising is not a issue and should not be banned. In my perspective, the main reason for obesity causing by junk food is advertising and it should be banned.
In promotion of a product, advertisement play a major role. For this reason, companies invest alot to advertise. Moreover, Psychologically we can taste the food with the advertisement. For example, advertisement of fried chicken in the television turn water in our mouth and we crave for it. Eventually, an interest will develope to taste, will end up with the habituation. In result, people suffer with obesity and health issues.
Likewise, Every product promote in the form of advertisement as the same way junk food did but it was blammed with causing problem of obesity. Effective way to deliver the product is by advertisement. Humans should know that what to consume and limit to take. Consumption within the limit is safe to everyone. In instance, human body require 200 calories of sugar everyday and that should be taken. However, increase in the limit of sugar is very danger. As a result, people at young age suffer with diabaties and obesity.
I conclude, although evryone can take junk with in limit but they can not take due to their willingness and habits so, brands should limit the advertisement in order to change minds of people and keep them fit.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear opinion in the introduction and conclusion: you argue that junk-food advertising should be restricted because it encourages unhealthy eating. The first body paragraph offers a relevant explanation, linking appealing adverts to cravings and habitual consumption. However, the discussion of the opposing view is only partly addressed. The paragraph beginning “Likewise” says people should control what they consume, but it does not clearly explain why some people believe advertising does not contribute to obesity or why it should remain permitted. The calorie example is also asserted rather than connected convincingly to advertising. To strengthen the response, explain both positions directly, then support each with a specific, relevant example and develop your own reasoning more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas are generally grouped by topic. Some links are made through phrases such as “For this reason,” “Moreover” and “As a result.” However, progression between points is not always clear: the second body paragraph shifts from defending advertising to discussing sugar limits without explaining the connection. Several transitions are mechanical or inaccurate, including “Likewise” and “In result,” and the conclusion introduces willingness and habits without clearly tying them to the earlier argument. Use topic sentences that identify each paragraph’s purpose, and make the relationship between claims explicit rather than relying on linking phrases alone.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “obesity,” “advertisement,” “consumption,” “habituation” and “health issues,” so the reader can follow the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or awkward, sometimes making the meaning less clear. Examples include “advertising junk food,” “turn water in our mouth,” “suffer with obesity,” and “brands should limit the advertisement.” Spelling errors such as “alot,” “develope,” “blammed,” “diabaties” and “evryone” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of expressions for discussing causes, influence and regulation, and check spelling and natural word combinations when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including cause-and-effect structures such as “For this reason, companies invest…” and “although everyone can take junk…”. However, grammatical errors are frequent, and some sentences are difficult to interpret. For example, “the main reason for obesity causing by junk food is advertising” has an incorrect clause structure, while “advertisement play a major role” and “humans should know that what to consume” show problems with agreement and sentence construction. Articles, verb forms and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “a issue,” “people believed,” and the comma-heavy final sentence. Practise forming complete clauses with accurate subject–verb agreement, and review articles and punctuation before adding more complex structures.
