Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response attempts to summarize the data but fails to provide a clear overview or accurately report the main features. The description of the data is often confusing; for example, stating that exports 'declined' from major countries is not clearly supported by the provided charts. Furthermore, the response lacks a clear comparison between the two years and the two destinations. Key data points are missing, and the information provided is somewhat inaccurate in its interpretation of the charts. To improve, you should focus on identifying the most significant trends and differences, ensuring that your summary highlights the most important changes rather than listing individual countries without context.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow of ideas is often disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inappropriate, such as the repetitive use of 'however' and 'moreover'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly when referring to 'non mentioned countries'. The logical progression of ideas is hindered by the lack of clear transitions between the data for India and China. To improve, use a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each paragraph has a clear focus, such as grouping countries by their export trends rather than listing them individually.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'transportation' instead of 'exports', 'donating countries' instead of 'exporting countries', and 'rosed' instead of 'rose'. The phrase 'leasest exportation' is non-standard. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of precision and the frequent misuse of terms prevent a higher score. To improve, focus on learning collocations related to data description, such as 'accounted for', 'experienced a rise', or 'remained stable', and ensure you use the correct terminology for economic data.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('the most exports was', 'countries... has the least'), punctuation (missing spaces after commas), and capitalization (e.g., 'india', 'china', 'germany'). Sentence structures are mostly simple, and attempts at complex sentences are often marred by errors. For example, 'In which Germany having the highest percentage' is a sentence fragment. To improve, focus on basic sentence construction, ensure proper capitalization of proper nouns, and practice using complex structures like relative clauses and subordinating conjunctions correctly.
