The pie charts illustrate the percentage of exports by different EU countries to India and China in the year 2000 and 2011.
Overall, it is noticed that Belgium was the major exporter for India in both years, while China got the most exports from Germany in 2000 and 2011. However, Austria exported the least amount of products to both nations.

A decline of 5% in exports to India was reported in Belgium in later year that went from 25% to 20%. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response covers the main features of the pie charts and makes relevant comparisons. You successfully identified the major exporters and noted the trends over the 11-year period. However, the analysis is slightly hampered by some inaccuracies in data interpretation. For instance, stating that the UK's exports 'dropped to half' (from 29% to 13%) is mathematically imprecise, and the claim that Belgium and Austria exported the 'same amount' to China is vague and lacks supporting figures. To reach a higher band, ensure that all data points mentioned are accurate and that comparisons are clearly supported by the provided statistics.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, an overview, and two body paragraphs focusing on India and China respectively. The use of cohesive devices such as 'Overall', 'To commence with', and 'Moreover' helps guide the reader through the information. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the phrase 'others countries' exports' which lacks specific detail. Paragraphing is used appropriately, and the progression of ideas is generally easy to follow throughout the response.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'illustrate', 'proportion', and 'remained stable'. However, there are some issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'inclined by 10%' (where 'increased' or 'rose' would be more natural) and 'exported same amount of things' (which is too informal). Additionally, there are minor errors in phrasing, such as 'in contrast of the previous year' instead of 'in contrast to'. Expanding your range of reporting verbs and using more precise nouns would improve your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The response uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors that occur throughout the text. Examples include 'the exports of Germany was' (subject-verb agreement error), 'others countries' exports' (possessive error), and 'the proportion of exported goods from United Kingdom was dropped' (incorrect passive voice usage). These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles would significantly enhance the accuracy of your writing.
