Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagram illustrates the percentage of exports from different EU countries to India and China in two different years, 2000 and 2011.

Overall, in 2000, the United Kingdom had the largest share of exports to India, at 29%, while Germany had the highest proportion in 2011, at approximately 25%. In terms of exports to China, Germany accounted for 38% in 2000 and remained the largest exporter in 2011, when its share increased significantly to 48%.

Initially, in 2000, the UK and Belgium together accounted for around half of the exports to India. In contrast, Austria, Sweden, the Netherlands, Finland and France contributed relatively small proportions. By 2011, Belgium, Germany and the UK accounted for more than half of the total exports to India. The remaining countries, including Spain, Sweden and Italy, also exported goods to India, but their proportions were comparatively low.

Regarding exports to China, Germany was responsible for 38% of the total in 2000, while the remaining countries collectively accounted for approximately 62%. By 2011, Germany's share had risen considerably to 48%, whereas all the other countries together made up the remaining 52% of exports to China.
