The charts illustrate information regarding exports from european states to two countries in Asia; India and China in two distinct years 2000 and 2011.

Overall, it is clear that the United Kingdom emerged as the largest exporter to India and Germany stood as the biggest exporter to China in the first year and for India in the second year while Austria remained the lowest exporter to both countries during the two years.

In 2000, the United Kingdom held the highest share of exports to India with a proportion of 29%. This is followed by Belgium having a percentage of 25%. Sweden and Spain both held the same percentage of 2% and Austria was the least exporter nation. This varied in 2011, when Germany became the largest exporter with a percentage of 25% followed by Belgium having a share of 20% which decreased from the first year. Sweden and Spain increased the number of exports by 1%.

In Contrast, In 2000 and 2011, Germany held the position of the largest share of exports to China with percentages of 38 percent which further increased to 48 percent in 2011 and France remained the second largest exporter to China but the percentage decreased from 13% in 2000 to 10% in 2011. Belgium remained constant with a proportion of 5% in both years.

Meanwhile, Austria remained the country with the lowest proportion of exports to both China and India which increased from 1% in 2000 to 2% in 2011 for India however, remained constant for China with an average of 2%, within the two year time-line.
