Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The pie charts illustrate EU exports of goods in percentage from different European countries to India and China in the years 2000 and 2011.

Overall, goods exports from European countries to India increased in all states in 2011, except of United Kingdom and Belgium with Germany as the leading export country in 2011. In China, however, are different export percentages. While some countries decreased their goods export, a couple of lands had increased their export of goods with a signifinant increase in Germany in 2011.

In comparison, Germany was the leader in goods export to India and China in 2011. But in 2000, the leading exports of goods to India was the UK, at 29% with a downfall of 16% less goods exports more than a decade later. Germany elevated from 2000 to 2011 at 10%, whereas Belgium lost 5%, at just 20% exports of goods to India.

However, the highest amount of goods exports came from Germany to China and remained eleven years straight with a noticeably increase from 38% in 2000 to 48% in 2011. Interestingly, Austria was the country with the less exports of goods to China and India at about 2%.
