The pie charts illustrate the proportions of goods exported by a range of European countries to India and China between 2000 and 2011. Overall, the largest share was constituted by the UK in their exports to India in 2000 compared to Germany in 2011. However, Australia made up the smallest share in 2000 compared to Austria and Finland in 2011. Regarding China, Germany had the highest share in both years compared with Austria and spain in the first year, and Austria and Finland in the second year.

In detail, In terms of Indian imports in 2000, the UK exported the largest proportion at 29%, followed by Belgium at 25% and Germany at 15%. Sweden, Spain, and Finland accounted for 2% by each. The smallest proportion was made by Austria at 1%. In 2011, Germany had the largest share at 25% and Belgium ranked second at 20%. The UK ranked third at 13%. Austria and Finland had the least share at 2% by each.

Regarding exports to China, Germany had the most share in both years at 38% in 2000 and 48% in 2011. France accounted for 13% in 2000 and 10% in 2011. whereas, Austria and Spain made the lowest proportion at 2% by each in 2000. In 2011, Finland and Austria exported the smallest share at 2% by each.
