well, i agree on that,i know in many countries , even in my own country , it seems to be a luxury to study in co educational institutes but i think girls and boys dont get much benefited from this system as according to my opinion both genders feel ashamed for being confident in the class .moreover they get into some bad activities like in a relation or negative interaction which leads this system to be corrputed ,in addition, if we compare this type of system to the only one gender education , it worked more than that as there are no distractions .moreover, sometimes girls face some harassment issues from the boys which i also a big issue .but if there are single sex schools , both girls and boys can have heir privacy and their own types of activities will be prevalent in this type of school system ,furthermore, some girls dont want them selves to be exposed in front of their non mehrams, this is the issue in muslim community that girls are not comfortable sitting in the class as all the boys are strangers to them, even if they are friends , they would not like to have a frank interaction to them , for example in my university , its co educational institute so girls with their hijab do feel comfortbale talking to the teachers , similarly , boys from rural areas , who were not familiar with this system loses their confidence while studying in the class or participating in the class activities which effects their grads obviously

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You take a clear position in favour of single-sex education and give relevant reasons, including fewer distractions, privacy, and discomfort some Muslim girls may feel in mixed classes. The examples about girls wearing hijab and boys from rural areas also connect to your own context. However, the response addresses the issue only partially because several claims are asserted rather than explained: for instance, the reference to “bad activities” and relationships is vague, and the point about harassment is not developed with an example or explanation of its effects. The comparison with co-education is also not balanced, so the extent of your agreement is not fully explored. Develop two or three main reasons with clearer explanations and specific support.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response contains a sequence of related reasons, and linking expressions such as “moreover,” “in addition,” and “for example” show an attempt to connect ideas. However, the writing is presented as one long, largely unpunctuated paragraph, so the reader cannot easily distinguish the main argument, supporting points, and example. Several connectors are repeated or used mechanically, and the ideas move quickly from relationships to harassment, privacy, hijab, and rural boys without clear transitions. Some references, such as “this system” and “this type of school,” are not always precise. Organise the response into an introduction, separate body paragraphs for distinct reasons, and a conclusion; use fewer, more purposeful linking phrases.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “co-educational institutes,” “distractions,” “harassment,” “privacy,” and “confidence.” These choices allow the reader to understand your general argument. However, the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or awkward, such as “get much benefited,” “bad activities,” “negative interaction,” and “their own types of activities will be prevalent.” Spelling errors, including “corrputed,” “comfortbale,” and “grads,” also reduce control. Aim for more precise collocations and avoid vague wording: explain what specific distractions or activities you mean, and use phrases such as “benefit significantly,” “inappropriate behaviour,” or “academic performance” where appropriate. Proofreading would help make your meaning clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to express several connected ideas in complex sentences, including the explanation beginning “some girls don’t want themselves to be exposed” and the example about rural boys. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and these long sentences are often difficult to follow because clauses are joined without reliable punctuation. There are frequent errors in sentence formation and grammar, such as “girls and boys dont get much benefited,” “which i also a big issue,” and “boys … loses their confidence.” Capitalisation and apostrophes are also inconsistent. These problems sometimes make the reader work to identify the relationships between ideas. Practise building shorter, complete sentences first, then combine them accurately using subordinate clauses and appropriate punctuation.
