Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years, this issue has gained a lot of attraction. Numerus people believe that co-education is advantageous for learners, While other believe that separate schooling is much better then co-ones . To some extent, I do agree with the first statement this essay will discuss the both point of views.
People of different countries think that girls and boys benefit from being educated together is beneficial. As co-education has brought a lot of positive effect towards the society for example, It help student to gain lot of confidence and increase social skill. The most suitable example is my cousin, student of an international school. his social skills are so excellent at very young age. he can communicate with both gender properly. he also learnt how to respect girls and has a lot of female friends
The students who prefer study separately are usually Muslim. Muslim religion do not allow them then to educate with different gender. How ever numerous schools are educating younger ones in a co-education system. In my prospective, world is moving to the era of technology and advance culture schools ought aid students to enhance their communication skills to opposite gender. they will have to communicate, boys to girls and girls to boys so, it is necessary to develop some confidence
In conclusion, although both systems are right, however the co one is better as it has a lot of advantages. Primely benefit are they improve social skills, communication skills and improve confidence, which helps them in future

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear preference for co-education, stating, “To some extent, I do agree with the first statement,” and you offer relevant reasons, including confidence and social skills. The example of your cousin helps illustrate these benefits. However, the discussion is only partial: the case for single-sex schools is reduced mainly to a claim about Muslim students, without explaining educational benefits or considering whether this applies more broadly. Your position also needs clearer development and support across the essay. The response contains 243 words, so it is 7 words below the required minimum; the 9 words copied from the prompt are not counted. Develop both sides more fully and make your degree of agreement explicit in the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the paragraphs generally focus on relevant points. Basic links such as “for example,” “However” and “In conclusion” help the reader follow the discussion. However, progression between ideas is sometimes unclear: the shift from the claim about Muslim students to technology and communication is abrupt, and the relationship between the two sides is not fully explained. Some linking is mechanical or inaccurate, as in “although both systems are right, however.” Improve cohesion by making each paragraph’s main point clear, connecting examples directly to that point, and avoiding contradictory or unnecessary linking expressions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “co-education,” “social skills,” “communication skills” and “confidence.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “in recent years” and “in conclusion.” However, the range is limited and several noticeable word-choice, spelling and collocation errors make parts less natural, including “gained a lot of attraction,” “Numerus people,” “Primely benefit” and “co-ones.” Repetition of “skills” and “benefit” also limits variety. Choose accurate, natural expressions and check spelling; for instance, use “gained considerable attention” and “numerous people.” This would make your argument clearer and more appropriate in tone.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a reason introduced with “As” and a contrast beginning “although.” However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty or incomplete. For example, “To some extent, I do agree with the first statement this essay will discuss the both point of views” joins two clauses without suitable punctuation, while “People of different countries think that girls and boys benefit from being educated together is beneficial” has an unclear sentence structure. Errors in agreement and articles also occur, as in “other believe” and “the both point.” Use shorter, controlled sentences where needed, and practise clause boundaries, subject–verb agreement and article use before attempting longer structures.
