Student answer (Band 6.0)
Co-education is ubiquitious, where girls and boys are educated together. However, most of the people argued that there should be separate institutes, as they will feel more confident in single-sex schools. I completely agreed with the asssertion that education for boys and girls must be co-educational because mixed schooling helps the students to acquire confidence, mutual respect and gender equality.
Some people believe that separate education feels more comfortable especially to female students. As a substaintial amount of females are shy and introverted infront of opposite gender, due to which they are unable to participate in classroom discussions. For Example, girls experience fewer distractions in class while presentation, it will assist them to present their perspectives fearlessly.
Co-education allows boys and girls to interact with each other from an early age. It develps confidence while communicating with each other. Students learn to understand each other's perspective. For instance, in professional environment, men and women are expected to communicate, collaborate and handle task each other. Students who have studied in mixed-genders schools may find this interaction more natural.
Co-education promotes mutual respect and gender equality. It challenged gender sterotypes and unnecessary social barriers. As a result, boys and girls learn to treat each other as equal member of society. Such as, in households, men and women respect eachother profession and don't humiliate each other with inferiority complex. It helps men to understand the concept that women don't have to confined to their houses, they can play their role in different profession.
To sum up, I completely disagree with the idea that boys and girls should be educated separatelt, as co-education, develops their communication skills, confidence and mutual understanding.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you support co-education because it can build confidence, mutual respect and gender equality, and the conclusion restates this view. You also acknowledge the opposing argument that some girls may feel more comfortable in single-sex settings, so the response addresses both sides of the question. The main ideas are relevant, but their development is uneven. The point about classroom participation is brief, while the discussion of equality moves quickly from school to household roles without explaining the connection in detail. To strengthen the response, explain how each example supports your position and qualify broad claims about girls’ confidence with more precise reasoning or a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the opposing view and your supporting reasons, and a conclusion. Topic sentences such as “Co-education allows boys and girls to interact” help readers follow the argument, and phrases including “For instance” and “As a result” signal examples and consequences. However, some links are mechanical or unclear. “For Example” introduces a point that does not fully explain the preceding claim, and “Such as” is not smoothly connected to the sentence before it. The shift from school equality to household relationships also needs a clearer bridge. Use cohesive phrases selectively and make the relationship between each example and its main idea explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “co-education,” “classroom discussions,” “mutual respect,” “gender equality” and “social barriers.” These choices make your main ideas clear, and you attempt less common expressions such as “introverted” and “perspectives.” Some word-choice, collocation and spelling inaccuracies reduce precision, however: “ubiquitious,” “substaintial,” “develps” and “sterotypes” are misspelled, while “handle task each other” and “respect eachother profession” are not natural expressions. Aim to check spelling carefully and learn common word partnerships, such as “work together on tasks” and “respect each other’s professions.” More precise vocabulary would help you express the argument with greater flexibility.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including a reason clause in “As a substantial amount of females are shy…” and a relative clause in “Students who have studied in mixed-genders schools…”. The overall meaning is generally understandable, but some errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles and punctuation remain. For example, “I completely agreed” should use the present tense to match your current position, and “it will assist them” does not agree clearly with the plural subject “girls.” In “women don’t have to confined,” the verb pattern is incomplete; use “don’t have to be confined.” Review comma placement and sentence boundaries as well. Greater control of these patterns would make your complex sentences more accurate.
