Student answer (Band 6.0)

Education contains a unbiased nature in any aspect especial when it comes to gender. Every individual have equal right over education. Although some people address that teaching both boys and girls separately would me more beneficial for them in spite of teaching them together . I completely agree with the statement and try to articulate my thoughts in farther essay .

To commence with most students in school are in their adolescence age , were they under some hormonal changes and experiencing some changes in their body. Which often make them explore more in every aspect and its irrespective to gender. in such age students often get distracted and loss their focus over study as they encourage to get involve in some other activity for instance relationship , dating and party, where there academic or study can get compromised.

Teaching them separately would solve multiple issues for instance students can enhance their focus towards studies and also there would be less distraction in there surrounding. Moreover, with same sex pupil can also communicate personal issues which they might feel uncomfortable earlier. Which ultimately will enhance their academic scores and even mindset.

Although, those are outcome of hormonal changes which they are going through. Its irrefutable that learner can learn in any surrounding and condition. To conclude merit of teaching them separately outweigh the demerits of teaching both sex together as for me .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the essay is under the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which limits the depth of the arguments. While the main ideas—distraction and academic focus—are relevant, they are somewhat under-developed. The conclusion is brief and does not fully synthesize the points made. To improve, you should expand on your reasoning with more specific examples or counter-arguments to ensure the response is sufficiently developed and meets the length requirement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the flow of ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or inaccurate, such as the awkward transition 'Although, those are outcome of hormonal changes'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and some sentences are fragmented, which disrupts the logical progression. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that connects smoothly to the next.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'Education contains a unbiased nature' instead of 'Education is inherently unbiased' and 'its irrespective to gender' instead of 'regardless of gender'. Additionally, there are some spelling and grammatical slips that affect the overall quality. To improve, try to incorporate more academic collocations and ensure you are using words in their correct context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('Every individual have', 'students... is under'), incorrect preposition usage, and punctuation errors. The sentence construction is often fragmented, particularly in the second paragraph. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring that complex sentences are punctuated correctly. Reducing the frequency of these errors will significantly improve the readability of your writing.
