Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this present generation, as the technology is developed the human life also changes. In most countries males and females are educated together in co-educational or mixed schools. While others think that it will be good for girls and boys to educated individually in single-sex schools.
I partially agree with this statement as both of the ways hold their own significance. In both of these students educated in co-educational would bring greater advantage.
Initially, boys and girls studying in mixed schools will bring much benefit to society. Because, it helps in communication, combined working, understanding each other and helping one another. For example, during projects everyone is going to share their ideas also create a team through which they built their bonding. Moreover, both of them will be in discipline by respecting each other. As a result, educating together would have more benefits.
On the other hand, there is an disadvantage in combining students as they forgot their limits and behave beyond to it which will effect their future career. While in that case studying separately will cause some profit. For instance, both of them will maintain longer distances, absence of closeness and maintain their limits. There fore, parents will live a peaceful life in their society without any fear through which it helps to both of them.
To conclude, if students are educated together in co-educational by following rules and regulations also, students maintain their limits without crossing their behaviour line then it would occurs greater advantage in the whole country. Also, they can achieve higher position in their further life,

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt and provides a clear position. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention the benefits of mixed schools (communication, teamwork) and the potential drawbacks (distractions), the arguments lack depth and specific, real-world examples. The explanation of why single-sex schools might be beneficial is quite vague, relying on general statements about 'maintaining limits' rather than exploring educational or psychological arguments. To improve, ensure that each body paragraph provides a more detailed explanation and a concrete, illustrative example to support your claims, rather than just stating the points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction and conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Initially', 'Moreover', 'On the other hand', and 'To conclude'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and some transitions feel forced or slightly unnatural. For instance, the phrase 'As a result, educating together would have more benefits' at the end of the third paragraph is a bit repetitive. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'through which it helps to both of them', where the antecedent is ambiguous. Improving the variety of linking words will help the essay flow more naturally.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. You rely on basic phrasing, such as 'good', 'benefit', and 'things'. There are also some awkward collocations and word choices, such as 'cause some profit' (which is not standard in this context) and 'behaviour line'. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more sophisticated vocabulary and idiomatic expressions related to education and social development. Focus on learning collocations—words that naturally go together—rather than just individual synonyms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'as the technology is developed', 'students educated in co-educational would bring'), missing articles, and incorrect word forms (e.g., 'there is an disadvantage'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring that your complex sentences are constructed accurately.
