Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this present generation, as technology develops the human life also changes. In most countries males and females are educated together in co-educational or mixed schools. While others think that it will be good for girls and boys to be educated individually in single-sex schools.
I partially agree with this statement as both of the ways hold their own significance. In both of these students educated in co-educational would bring greater advantage.
Initially, boys and girls studying in mixed schools will bring much benefit to society. Because it helps in communication, combined working, understanding each other and helping one another. For example, during projects everyone is going to share their ideas also create a team through which they build their bonding. Moreover, both of them will be in discipline by respecting each other. As a result, educating together would have more benefits.
On the other hand, there is a disadvantage in combining students as they forgot their limits and behave beyond appropriate boundaries which will affect their future career. While in that case studying separately will cause some profit. For instance, both of them will maintain longer distances, absence of closeness and maintain their limits. Therefore, parents will live a peaceful life in their society without any fear through which it helps to both of them.
To conclude, if students are educated together in co-educational following rules and regulations also, students maintain their limits without crossing their behaviour line then it would offers greater advantage in the whole country. Also, they can achieve higher positions in their further life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both co-educational and single-sex schooling. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention benefits like 'communication' and 'teamwork' for mixed schools, the arguments regarding single-sex schools are less developed and rely on vague assertions about 'maintaining limits' and 'peaceful life'. To reach a higher band, you should provide more concrete, analytical examples or evidence to support your claims. Your position is clear, but the supporting arguments lack the depth required for a higher score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction and conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Initially', 'Moreover', 'On the other hand', and 'To conclude'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'through which it helps to both of them'. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their antecedents would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range expected at higher levels. You rely on somewhat repetitive or simplistic phrasing, such as 'bring much benefit', 'achieve higher positions', and 'behave beyond appropriate boundaries'. There are also some minor collocation issues, such as 'cause some profit' (which is not standard usage in this context). To improve, try to incorporate more academic collocations and precise terminology related to education and social development.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'as technology develops the human life also changes' (missing punctuation), 'both of the ways hold' (awkward phrasing), and 'it would offers' (subject-verb agreement error). Additionally, some sentences are slightly fragmented or lack proper article usage. Focusing on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and refining your use of complex sentence structures will help improve your accuracy.
