Student answer (Band 5.5)

The topic is that the girls and boys should not be educated in the same school. There should be different school for different gender. So, I totally disagree with this view.

Firstly, from so many ancient times there is no separate school for genders. Now, there are few hostels for different sexuary. In the 20th century, people are having modern thinking with modern technology. So, every boys and girls are good friends with each other which it gives positive impact to the society.

Even, nowadays there are no separate activities for females and males, they both can participate in all of them whereas in earlier times, there are many activities that are not valid for girls these have improved because both gender have showed that there is no difference between them. Moreover, if they will be educated together they will get to know about each other hygience biological terms, that should be teach to both gender and they should know from what they are going to pass at what age.

Furthermore, if they are being started teaching in different school then these they might started disliking each other. Because they are not aware of their nature and kindness. If for example, there are so many songs that includes both vocals male and female. Both genders complete the songs and this gives good + creates a good image to the world.

To sum up, I would like to disagree with few people who says to build different schools for education for different genders. If they will educate together then the world will be more brighter and wealthy.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against single-sex education. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention social benefits and biological education, the arguments are somewhat superficial and lack depth. For instance, the point about 'songs that includes both vocals' is not a strong or relevant argument for educational policy. To improve, you should focus on more substantive points, such as the preparation for the real-world workplace or the development of social skills, and support these with more logical reasoning. The conclusion is clear, but the overall development remains at a basic level, failing to fully explore the complexities of the topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'Even, nowadays' and 'So, I totally disagree' are used in ways that do not flow naturally. The transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'these they might started disliking each other,' where the pronoun reference is confusing. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider range of linking words (e.g., 'consequently,' 'furthermore,' 'in contrast') more precisely to connect your sentences and ideas logically.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard phrasing, such as 'different sexuary' (likely meant 'sexes'), 'hygience biological terms,' and 'more brighter and wealthy.' These errors occasionally impede the clarity of your message. You rely on basic vocabulary to express your ideas, which restricts your ability to convey more nuanced arguments. To improve, try to learn and use more academic collocations and precise terminology related to education and social development, and pay closer attention to word forms and spelling.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'every boys and girls are,' 'people who says'), incorrect verb tenses (e.g., 'if they will be educated,' 'they might started'), and awkward sentence construction. These errors are frequent and sometimes make the meaning difficult to grasp. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence patterns, ensuring subject-verb agreement, and correctly using conditional structures. Reducing the frequency of these errors is essential for achieving a higher score.
