Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the contemporary era, mostly all schools teach boys and girls together. On that note, in few parts of the world girls and boys are educated together in mixed schools. Numerous individuals think that males and females benefits from being educated separately in single-sex schools. For this trend is strongly disagree with this view.
There are numerous reason which justify my point of view. Firstly, if girls and boys are getting education separately then in the future they can get difficulty to talk with their opposite genders. For example, after completing schooling from separate single-sex school and they got admission in college in that case , all college educates students in mixed so at that time they generate difficulty to interact with each other. Secondly, males and females both have a different perspective and if they get education in separate school they generate misleading in future because of the different perspective.
Moreover, if boys and girls get education in a single-sex schools it may be lead and gender attraction if they boy talk with only boy and girl talk with only girl therefore they may be attract with by their own gender. Furthermore, if they getting education in single-sex schools they did not understand the opposite gender nature as well as their change time to time and how body and hormonal change when becoming an adult. For instance, if they getting separate schooling then the boys can not understand the girls internal body structure and their hormons change according to their age. Thus, these are the reasons which justify my answer.
Overall, even though getting separate schooling have benefit like they respect their opposite gender, I still believe that this trend has more drawbacks like getting difficulty to interact in future, different perspective, attract their own gender and did not understand opposite gender hormonal changes.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
You have addressed the prompt and maintained a clear position throughout the essay. However, the development of your ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide reasons for your stance, such as the difficulty of interacting with the opposite gender, the arguments are repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the point regarding 'hormonal changes' is not clearly explained or linked effectively to the educational environment. To improve, ensure that each paragraph introduces a distinct, well-supported point rather than restating similar ideas about social interaction. The conclusion is present, but the essay would benefit from a more nuanced exploration of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use basic cohesive devices like 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'Moreover' to link your ideas. However, the flow between sentences is often mechanical, and some transitions are awkward, such as 'For this trend is strongly disagree with this view.' Additionally, the referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult to track the subject of your sentences. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that your sentences connect logically to one another rather than appearing as a list of points.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is quite repetitive and lacks precision. You frequently use basic terms like 'get' and 'different', which limits the sophistication of your writing. There are also errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'generate misleading' and 'change time to time'. To improve, try to incorporate more academic vocabulary related to education and social development. Avoid using informal phrasing and focus on using words that accurately convey your intended meaning in a formal context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'males and females benefits'), incorrect verb tenses, and missing articles. For example, 'if they boy talk with only boy' is grammatically incorrect and confusing. While your meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic sentence construction prevents a higher score. Focus on proofreading your work to correct these recurring slips, particularly regarding pluralization and verb forms.
