Student answer (Band 4.5)
Co education is good but there is many thing to discuss
Different people have different oppinions about co education some people like it or while some people don’t like it but in my opinion separate education is very good for female students because of save environment and also for boys it’s beneficial they can focus on there studies instead of focusing on stupid things like furiously behave with females annoy & other things I also have suffered and see the co education is getting very bad day by day students can’t focus on studying they take interest in annoying girls and also teacher have a big challenge to teach females and male students in one but in go education students have made good communication skills & relationships I give my opinion now I talk about public oppinion is co education Costs very cheap healthy competition some people is recognized equal competition in males and females so that’s why Thek like co education but in my opinion less concentration
Bullying or teasing is very common in co education
And cultural concerns some times co education has only relay in religions I saw a many school admit only Muslims and sometimes they admit only Cristian’s so there a lot of thing to talk about
And also I prefer single sex education is good many parents worried about theirs child who go to co education in today’s society. I prefer every parents to admit there child to non co education u will se a big change in your kids

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by expressing a preference for single-sex education, but the development of ideas is limited. While you mention reasons such as 'safe environment' and 'focus on studies,' these points are not fully extended or supported with clear, logical arguments. The essay lacks a formal structure, such as an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, which makes it difficult to follow your position. The arguments provided are somewhat repetitive and rely on personal anecdotes rather than broader, analytical points. To improve, ensure you provide a clear thesis statement and develop each main idea in a separate paragraph with supporting evidence or examples.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The essay lacks a clear organizational structure. There is no paragraphing, and the flow of ideas is disjointed, making it difficult for the reader to follow your argument. You use very few cohesive devices, and those that are present are often used incorrectly or in a repetitive manner (e.g., 'and also,' 'but'). The lack of transition words between sentences means that the progression of ideas is not logical. To improve, you should organize your essay into clear paragraphs—introduction, body paragraphs for each main point, and a conclusion—and use a wider variety of linking words like 'furthermore,' 'consequently,' or 'in contrast' to connect your ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.5
Your vocabulary is quite limited and often informal, which is not suitable for an academic essay. Phrases like 'stupid things' and 'annoying girls' are too colloquial. There are also frequent spelling errors, such as 'oppinions,' 'Cristian’s,' and 'Thek,' which hinder readability. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle to use more precise or academic terms to express your ideas. To improve, focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary related to education and society. Try to avoid informal language and practice using more sophisticated synonyms for common words to demonstrate a wider range of expression.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede communication. There are significant issues with sentence structure, including run-on sentences and fragments. For example, 'I also have suffered and see the co education is getting very bad day by day' lacks proper punctuation and clarity. Subject-verb agreement is inconsistent, and there are frequent errors in article usage and word order. You rely almost exclusively on simple sentence structures, with very few attempts at complex sentences. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, punctuation, and subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
