Student answer (Band 4.5)

In most part of world girls and boys are teached together in mixed school or co-educational schools. On the other hand some individuals believe that boys and girls are more concentrated from being educated seprately in single sex schools.

To commence it with the education is more important and the girls and boys both can study together in same school. I totally disagree with statement given upward because all the students treat eqally whether they are boys or girls. Teacher teach all students at one time so it depend on student they can focus or not it not matter the boys and girls are studing together.

Moving ahead the boys and girls can make hard work to competite each other . To explain it girls think that they take higher marks from boys and boys think that they competite girls to take higher m,arks in exam . EXAMPLE in my school also boys and girls educate together

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 157 words. This significantly limits the development of your ideas. While you state your position clearly, the arguments are underdeveloped and lack sufficient supporting evidence or depth. The example provided is very brief and lacks the necessary detail to fully support your point. To improve, you must expand on your arguments with more detailed explanations and relevant examples, ensuring you meet the length requirement to allow for a full exploration of the topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into short paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is disjointed. While you use some transition signals like 'To commence' and 'Moving ahead', they are used somewhat awkwardly. The connection between sentences is often weak, making the flow of the argument feel repetitive and simplistic. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of cohesive devices to link your ideas more naturally and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, central topic sentence that is logically developed throughout the paragraph.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is basic and repetitive, which limits your ability to express complex ideas. There are several errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'teached' instead of 'taught', 'seprately' instead of 'separately', and 'competite' instead of 'compete'. These errors occasionally impede the clarity of your writing. To improve, you should focus on learning more academic vocabulary related to education and social issues and pay closer attention to the correct spelling and usage of common words.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The grammar is characterized by frequent errors that often affect the readability of the text. There are issues with subject-verb agreement, such as 'Teacher teach all students', and incorrect sentence structures, such as 'it depend on student they can focus or not it not matter'. You rely heavily on simple sentence structures, and attempts at more complex sentences are often grammatically incorrect. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles and prepositions before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
