Student answer (Band 5.5)

Various sections of the globe male and female are knowledgeable collectively in same platform or mixed school system. More individual shows that separate academic system for both male and female is beneficial.

I strongly agree with this opinion because girls and boys have different gender and everyone can attract to one another, at a result it definitely effects on their study.

Firstly, Co-educational systems are available in every parts of the country like in higher educational system. During mixed school system students concentration from studies are minimal in some cases because different gender attraction effect their academic studies. For instance, when girls and females are in same class it can create free environment to meet and talk one anther at a result it may create negative effects on study and as well as in society.

On the other hand, separate school system for male and females in our countries have installed from basic classes to college level but not mainly for universities. Government showed focus on this issue because separate study system have more advantages than co-education. For example, if same genders are in same class can design highly promoted environment for attraction and study. Every students can shared their knowledge to every other friends and also discus a topic in group wise.

In conclusion, both view have their own benefits, but I strongly agree with separate school system because it provide environment for study and as well as Islamic point views its not permitted to engage same gender on same class.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of single-sex education. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat repetitive. The arguments provided—distraction due to gender attraction and religious perspectives—are mentioned but not fully explored or supported with nuanced reasoning. The essay tends to over-generalize, such as the claim that mixed-gender environments inherently create negative effects on study. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific examples or counter-arguments to demonstrate a deeper understanding of the complexities involved in educational systems.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, phrases like 'at a result' are used incorrectly to link ideas, and transitions between sentences are sometimes abrupt. The referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the second paragraph where the connection between 'different gender attraction' and 'society' is not logically bridged. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will help create a smoother flow of ideas throughout the text.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'knowledgeable collectively' instead of 'educated together' and 'highly promoted environment' which does not clearly convey the intended meaning. Some phrases are repetitive, and there is a lack of less common lexical items. To improve, focus on learning collocations and using more academic vocabulary to express your ideas with greater precision and sophistication.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'every students can shared'), incorrect preposition usage, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'separate study system have more advantages'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevents the text from achieving a higher score. Focusing on proofreading for basic errors would be a beneficial first step.
