Student answer (Band 5.0)
In many parts of the world girls and boys are educated together in co-educational or mixed schools. It is mostly happen in the countries like USA ,Japan and almost all the European countries offers the Co and sex education in their schools. They think that co education is very important in developing the confidence in their child. While on the other hand sex education teach them how to behave with the girls, good touch and bad touch.
Some people think these type of education are very important for the children because they teach them how to live in the society and the most important thing how to behave with the girls.
In many Asian countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh Co and Sex education is not very common parents feels hesitation to send their child in such type of schools. Because they think such type of schools spoils their children. They also think that Co- education is the most common cause of the increased in the rape cases as compared to other countries.
In my opinion Sex and Co-education teach the child how behave with that who misbehave with them because both educations develop confidence in them. They talk with any person If he/she in the society. I also get my education from Co-education and i think it is the best decision in my life.
Both the prospective are okay in their places. I think every person should change with the time and co-education and sex education become most important necessity of today's life

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt but lacks depth in argumentation. While you mention both sides, the development is superficial. For instance, the claim that co-education causes increased rape cases is a significant over-generalization that lacks supporting evidence or logical nuance. The position is clear, but the arguments are not fully extended. To improve, you should focus on providing balanced, well-reasoned arguments rather than relying on broad, unsubstantiated claims. The essay touches on the topic but fails to explore the complexities of the debate, such as academic performance or social development, which are standard points for this task.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. Transitions between ideas are often abrupt or missing, making the flow disjointed. For example, the jump from discussing Western countries to Asian countries lacks a clear cohesive link. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as the use of 'these type of education' without a clear antecedent. While you use some basic cohesive devices, they are often repetitive or used incorrectly. To improve, focus on using a wider range of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'conversely', 'consequently') to connect your ideas more fluidly and ensure each paragraph has a clear, singular focus.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. You frequently use the phrase 'Co and sex education' and 'type of education', which restricts the range of your expression. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'It is mostly happen' (should be 'It mostly happens') and 'parents feels hesitation' (should be 'parents feel hesitant'). The vocabulary is generally sufficient to convey basic meaning, but it lacks the precision and variety required for higher bands. To improve, try to incorporate more academic synonyms and collocations related to education and social issues.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('parents feels'), article usage ('the countries like USA'), and sentence structure ('They talk with any person If he/she in the society'). The range of structures is limited, relying mostly on simple sentences with some errors in complex constructions. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with capitalization and spacing. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles, before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
