Student answer (Band 5.0)

In many parts of the world girls and boys are educated together in co-educational or mixed schools . some people think that girls and boys beneifit from being educated separately in single sex schools .I am on the same wavelength with them because of fewer distractions and higher performance .

One of the major reason for my approval to this view point is the some distractions . this is due tpo the fact that in different genders some things are not similar fewer conditions is different and also in school time period our mind set is totally different like some students have thinking like a social pressure and some child's have romantic mind sets on that age time poriod for instance a survey conducted by educational department has apprroved social pressure during class due top its productive outcomes.

Another significant point in its favour it is higher performance of girls as compare to boys .this means that boys have not more skills for study as compare to girls that was not more intelligent than girls boys have not more mindsets as campare to girls boys have some kind of different distraction as compare to boys . if mindset boost up in the society . it can bring benifit in the form of confidence develop in the country.

To conclude it is clear from the above mentioned points that the idea of personal development seems practical and bring prosperity for the society and people .therefore , it would be wise to accept this idea ande promote it.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of single-sex education. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments regarding 'distractions' and 'higher performance' are repetitive and lack specific, logical support. For instance, the claim that boys have fewer skills than girls is a generalization that is not substantiated by clear reasoning or relevant examples. The essay touches upon the requirements but fails to extend the arguments sufficiently to reach a higher band, as the content remains somewhat superficial and circular.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow of ideas is frequently interrupted by unclear transitions and repetitive phrasing. While there is an attempt to use cohesive devices (e.g., 'Another significant point', 'To conclude'), the internal logic within paragraphs is weak. The sentences often lack clear connections, making it difficult for the reader to follow the progression of the argument. Referencing is sometimes ambiguous, and the mechanical use of linking words does not always result in a smooth, logical flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive, which restricts the ability to convey complex ideas. There are frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'beneifit', 'tpo', and 'apprroved'. The student relies on basic vocabulary and struggles to use less common items accurately. Phrases like 'mindset boost up' and 'romantic mind sets' are imprecise and do not reflect the level of vocabulary required for higher bands. The range is just sufficient to communicate the basic message but lacks precision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement, sentence structure, and punctuation (e.g., 'boys have not more skills', 'some child's have'). The range of structures is limited, with a reliance on simple, often fragmented sentences. Complex structures are attempted but are usually faulty, such as the run-on sentences in the second and third paragraphs. Punctuation is inconsistent, particularly regarding spacing and comma usage.
