Student answer (Band 5.5)
I would totally disagree with that statement that there should be only single sex schools or boys and girls should study separately and i think that why these types of thinking come in people minds that does not hold any type of benefits because by implementing this there would be some consequences which would not favor full or healthy for the society.
After briefing my statement i would like to tell why i disagree that order or statement the main reason behind this disagreement is that lack of confidence because those boys who does study with girls or never communicate with girls in their study life then how could they able to communicate with them confidently in their professional life and other then this is the negative point which come in people minds that what would happen if we send our girls to their jobs in which mostly workers are men and due to this they do not allow their girls to go for that and due to which women community does not develop.
And on the other side if there is co-education and girls and boys are studying and working together from the beginning there would be no excuse that why different genders are working together and also with that women society would also able to grow up and have a good progression rate which would also be also very beneficial for the growth of economy of the nation
At the end the conclusion is that there should be no probation on that why there is a co-education environment.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against single-sex education. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments regarding 'lack of confidence' and 'professional communication' are relevant but remain somewhat superficial and repetitive. The essay lacks specific examples or deeper analysis to fully support the claims, which prevents it from reaching a higher band. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not effectively synthesize the main points. To improve, you should aim to provide more detailed explanations and perhaps a concrete example or hypothetical scenario to illustrate your points more convincingly.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the flow between ideas is often mechanical and repetitive. For example, the frequent use of 'and' and 'due to which' makes the sentences feel disjointed. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often basic or misused, such as 'other then this' and 'at the end the conclusion is that'. The progression of ideas is present but lacks sophistication. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but remains quite basic and repetitive. You rely on simple phrases like 'negative point', 'good progression', and 'people minds'. There is an attempt to use some academic vocabulary, but it is often used incorrectly or in a way that sounds unnatural, such as 'probation' instead of 'prohibition' or 'briefing my statement'. To achieve a higher score, you should focus on using more precise academic collocations and synonyms to avoid repetition and demonstrate a wider range of vocabulary appropriate for an IELTS essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'those boys who does study'), incorrect word order, and missing articles. Punctuation is also problematic, with many run-on sentences that lack necessary commas or periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents a higher score. You should focus on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and ensuring that your complex sentences are constructed with correct subordinate clauses.
