Student answer (Band 5.5)
Bisexual educational places are available in the each states of every country, because of it offers not only educational aspects but also social understanding for later life. However, it is argued by some people that both girls and boys should be enrolled in unisexual schools as it benefits more. I, personally disagree with the given statement for some reasons which the essay will discuss in the upcoming paragraph.
It could be clearly seen that co-educational places offer more benefits than single sex schools, along with this, children should learn about opposite sex is very important for the society, also and males and females generally have different opinions and physique and importantly bisexual gender attract each other, these factors affects individuals in their future lives. A successful marriage, for example, not only works if both the partners are earning but understanding, respect, and observing each others needs are more crucial. Thus, these kind of things is not a part of study but it is basic need of human nature, which can be understood through mixed gender schools.
Moreover, promoting single sexual schools spread bias of gender equality among people which leads to unresolved conflicts between society and also interrupt cognitive growth of individual. For instance, major schools are bisexual in every country and people also support it without a single question yet, but if authority raise a proposal of separating schoolers according to gender, it would lead to major consequences to the government with many questions from the opposite viewers.
Although, unisexual school promote good educational environment due to less distraction of opposite sex and other fundamental tenet of the society, co-learning prevents bias and increase socializing of the schoolers.
To conclude, Though, single sex schooling provides some advantages, mixed gender schools outweigh it in several aspects including basic manners, understanding human nature and different mentality.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the argument regarding 'cognitive growth' and 'unresolved conflicts' is mentioned but not sufficiently explained or supported with concrete evidence. The term 'bisexual' is used incorrectly throughout the essay to mean 'co-educational' or 'mixed-gender', which significantly impacts the clarity of the argument. While the position is consistent, the supporting points lack the depth required for a higher band score, as the reasoning often relies on generalizations rather than logical expansion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, and there is a basic attempt at logical progression. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'along with this' and 'also and' are used awkwardly, and the transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt. Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly in the third paragraph where the connection between 'major schools' and the hypothetical government proposal is confusing. While the paragraphing is present, the internal flow of ideas is frequently interrupted by imprecise linking words and disjointed sentence structures.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The most significant issue is the persistent misuse of the word 'bisexual' to describe schools, which is a serious lexical error that distorts the meaning of the entire essay. Other vocabulary choices are basic and occasionally inappropriate, such as 'unisexual' for 'single-sex' and 'schoolers' for 'students'. There is little evidence of a wide range of vocabulary, and the errors in word choice are frequent enough to cause confusion for the reader. To improve, you must focus on learning the correct terminology for educational settings and expanding your range of academic collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but grammatical errors are frequent and pervasive. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'these factors affects', 'these kind of things is'), article usage, and sentence fragments. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma splices and run-on sentences. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar structures prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and ensuring that your complex sentences are constructed with accurate subordinating conjunctions.
