Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today’s world male and female interaction is quite common and necessary. So to proceed it is important to have co-education. I strongly disagree with single-sex education thought.
As for the dynamic world we all have to meet various people with different perspectives, personalities, experiences and even gender teaching boys and girls together in school is a great grooming also it boosts confidence when students present or talk in front of the opposite gender. I was schooled in a co-education environment and I feel very confident and strong when I communicate with anyone specifically in places like train station, office and homeroom teachers of my siblings.
Moreover, it is not just a perspective of growing and grooming kids it is also a sense of respect and responsibilities each gender carries of other one in order to make them respect it is important to be comfortable around likewise if a girl in school got help from a boy regarding her school project and they build a sense of belonging and understanding. So to achieve a good and thoughtful future it is important to be realistic and ket the schools have co-education system rather than single-sex school which might create discriminative mindsets of the kids and for future approaches they stay hesitant. From my personal experience it is a good and positive thing.
For the good and realistic future approaches it is a necessity to teach and guide girls and boys together in school which is co-educational system. This would bring better outcomes.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide personal anecdotes, such as your experience in a co-educational environment, the arguments remain quite general and repetitive. To achieve a higher band, you should expand on your points with more detailed reasoning or broader societal examples. For instance, instead of just mentioning 'grooming' and 'confidence,' you could discuss how co-education prepares students for professional environments or how it challenges gender stereotypes in a more analytical way. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not fully synthesize the points made in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'Moreover' and 'So to achieve,' to link your thoughts. However, the flow is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing and sentence structure, which makes some transitions feel mechanical. The use of referencing is sometimes unclear; for example, the phrase 'each gender carries of other one' is difficult to follow. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would help improve the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'good,' 'strong,' and 'grooming,' which are used in a slightly unnatural way in this context. There are also some issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'single-sex education thought' and 'ket the schools.' To improve, focus on using more academic collocations and precise terminology related to education and social development. Expanding your vocabulary to include more sophisticated synonyms will help you express your ideas with greater clarity and impact.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader's understanding. Issues include missing articles (e.g., 'in train station'), incorrect preposition usage, and awkward sentence construction (e.g., 'in order to make them respect it is important to be comfortable'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with run-on sentences. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Practicing the construction of complex sentences with accurate subordinate clauses will help you demonstrate a wider grammatical range while maintaining accuracy.
