Student answer (Band 5.5)

in modern era there are several advantages of unisex schools while certain individuals argue that diverse sex schools will have positive result on education.i am partially disagree with given statement and reasons for my inclinations are articulated in following paragraphs.

To start with the primary reason of i disagree is that one school for male and female is more beneficial to the government funds on educational development.Because creating different schools by gender it stuck the wide amount in just construction of schools. To cite an example, Government will able to launch certain new programmes in every school by utilizing large amount of fund, rather then just spending it on build more schools. As result it gives opportunity to all students to take benefits of new programmes of government.

The another main reason is that, the schools divided by gender then it creates bad impact on the students by seeing with partiality in male and female. As a result it will become a huge issue in future for employment and leveling the equality. For instance,a student who had seen difference in education by different schools of male and female students, will have chance to see same as it is in the future. In addition here is the starts a problems of gender equality.

neverthless, there are some good results too of divide into different schools of specific gender bt male and female, it enhance a confidence of each other on focusing on study. To give an example,a student feel more confident in focus on study when they do not have opposite gender to show certain personal appearance.

To sum up, student with different schools by gender have some benefits to but from my perspective more beneficial is one school for all student because it have more benefits in society and individuals

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position, although the development of ideas is somewhat limited. You provide reasons for your stance, such as government funding and social equality, but the arguments lack depth and specific, well-explained examples. For instance, the point about 'government funds' is mentioned but not clearly linked to how this specifically improves educational outcomes. The counter-argument is briefly acknowledged, but the overall development remains superficial. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your points with more detailed reasoning and clearer real-world illustrations to fully support your position.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'The another main reason is that' and 'neverthless' are used to signal transitions, but they are grammatically incorrect or awkward. The progression of ideas is sometimes hindered by these errors, making the flow feel disjointed. While there is an attempt to use linking words, they are not always used flexibly or appropriately. Improving the variety and accuracy of your transition signals will significantly enhance the logical flow of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is quite limited and repetitive. You rely on basic phrasing such as 'good results', 'bad impact', and 'huge issue'. There are also instances of word-choice errors, such as 'diverse sex schools' instead of 'co-educational schools' and 'stuck the wide amount' which is unclear. You attempt to use some academic vocabulary, but it is often used incorrectly or in an unnatural way. To improve, focus on learning collocations and more precise academic terminology related to education and social issues rather than relying on simple, general-purpose words.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with article usage (e.g., 'the government funds'), subject-verb agreement, and sentence structure (e.g., 'Because creating different schools... it stuck the wide amount'). Punctuation is also problematic, with missing spaces after commas and periods. While you attempt some complex sentence structures, they are often faulty, leading to confusion. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring that your subjects and verbs agree, and refining your use of articles and prepositions before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
