Student answer (Band 5.0)
There are different views regarding this concerned topic which is relatively very important, lets discussed the pros and cons of single-sex schools. Firstly i personally broad up in single sex school which is quite impressive for me because i know many students which is very shy and cannot speak openly when any female teacher give chance them to speak on desk , they completely hesitate , some sort of low confidence or even cannot answer a single question. So, i personally agree that mixed sex school system would be beneficial for students to boost their confidence. Girls are very smart and intelligent and i think both male and female should take part in education equally and compete with each other and learn new things.
While i have to give a small edge on for single sex school is that girls will be feel safe when they surrounded only by the same gender and did not hesitate speak up anything without any fear.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 162 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you state a position, the arguments are underdeveloped and lack the necessary depth and supporting examples required for an academic essay. The response touches on the topic but does not provide a balanced or thorough exploration of the prompt. To improve, you must expand your arguments with specific examples and ensure you meet the length requirement to allow for a full discussion of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks a clear structure. There is no formal introduction or conclusion, and the paragraphing is insufficient. While there are some attempts at linking ideas using words like 'Firstly' and 'While', the progression of ideas is disjointed. The lack of clear paragraph breaks makes the text difficult to follow. To improve, you should organize your essay into a clear introduction, two body paragraphs with distinct points, and a conclusion. Use a wider range of cohesive devices to connect your sentences and paragraphs more logically.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is basic and repetitive, which limits your ability to express complex ideas. There are several instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'concerned topic' and 'broad up in single sex school'. You rely on simple words like 'smart' and 'good' rather than more precise academic vocabulary. To improve, focus on learning topic-specific collocations related to education and social development. Avoid informal language and try to incorporate more sophisticated synonyms to convey your points with greater precision and variety.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede communication. Examples include 'lets discussed' (should be 'let us discuss'), 'any female teacher give chance them' (should be 'gives them a chance'), and 'girls will be feel safe' (should be 'girls will feel safe'). The sentence structures are mostly simple, and there is a lack of complex grammatical forms. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement, correct verb tense usage, and sentence construction. Proofreading for basic errors will also help improve the overall accuracy of your writing.
