Student answer (Band 5.0)

nowadays many schools have a system of learning together as men and women. and some individuals thaught is to learn separately.

In my opinion I agree with the system of learning seprately. Due to the propaganda of Girl friend boy friend culture. Which is very common in this generation. Every day there are many cases of rape in school's colleges and universities.

On the one hand I agree only the system who taught students together under the age of 12. Because at this age the students are in their childhood era and they don't know about negative positive things.

On the other hand when students promote to class five it is crusial to separate them into two sections.

The girls section and boys section. Due to this we absorb much difference and it is necessary to do this.

The advantage of this is we see the drop ness in rape cases and girls are protective. Furthermore it is also important that girls are taught by women staff. Because some girls feel ashamed in front of male staff.

Moreover boys are being taught by male staff only in secondary level. Because some female staff is not more confident in front of male students. And in school the staff should inform students about privacy concern which is necessary for all.

So it is crusial to teach separately both of them. In the world nowadays there are many institute's who taught boys and girls together which is not a good thing. Teach them separately is good for them and present generation.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of single-sex education. However, the development of ideas is limited and relies on generalizations. The argument regarding 'rape cases' is extreme and lacks nuance, which prevents a more sophisticated discussion of the educational or social benefits of single-sex schooling. While the response covers the main points, the supporting arguments are under-developed and lack logical depth. The essay would benefit from exploring academic or psychological perspectives rather than focusing solely on safety concerns, which makes the position feel somewhat narrow.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as starting sentences with 'Due to' or 'Because' in ways that do not connect effectively to the previous thought. The transition between the idea of 'childhood era' and the 'crucial' separation at class five is abrupt. Furthermore, the referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of the argument. Improved use of linking words and better paragraph structure would significantly enhance the coherence of the response.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. There are frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'thaught' instead of 'thought', 'seprately' instead of 'separately', 'crusial' instead of 'crucial', and 'drop ness' instead of 'drop' or 'reduction'. The student struggles to use academic vocabulary, relying on basic terms that do not fully convey the intended meaning. While the message is generally understandable, the lack of precision and the presence of spelling errors indicate a need for a broader range of vocabulary and better attention to word formation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are issues with sentence fragments, such as 'Which is very common in this generation,' and incorrect verb forms, such as 'when students promote to class five' instead of 'are promoted'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary apostrophes in 'school's' and 'institute's'. The range of structures is limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences. To improve, the student should focus on subject-verb agreement, correct sentence construction, and the proper use of complex structures to avoid fragmented or run-on sentences.
